Met up with my cousin and had a lovely day at St Kilda Beach and pier a lovely walk. Lots of history attached to this area and definatly take your camera. watch out for the seagulls they are sharpies.a great family or friends day out.

You certainly could hire a taxi from St Kilda to city, but cost could be between $20 - $30. Why not take a Tram and see a bit more of Melbourne at a lower cost and a leisurely pace?

They start at sun set and I'd recommend leaving 30-60mins for it. A tram will get you into the city in no time

Yes it is
