I surprised my partner with a punt on the lake for his birthday. We thoroughly enjoyed it from the moment we were greeted to the end. In fact, the day before, with a text and an invitation to bring nibbles and a drink. I knew we were in safe hands when our "punter",Will, spoke with his Cambridge accent and told us of his experience! The punt was relaxing and Will was a delight telling us about the lake and gardens. A wonderful experience even from before we arrived when we received a personal welcome text from Ayami. We thoroughly enjoyed our half hour private boat tour with Ayami as our ‘captain’. Her love for what she does and the beauty of Ornamental Lake and the Botanic Gardens is infectious (my 11, 8 and 5 year old loved it!). It’s so great to see small businesses like these back in action and I highly recommend this one in particular to anyone visiting Melbourne.…
