I come to Aroma Thai near the vic markets every time I come to Melbourne. It is a beautiful place, very relaxing from the minute you walk in the door. The massage therapists at Aroma Thai have excellent skills and adjust massage pressure as needed. I had Coco as my therapist this time and thought she was amazing!! A must visit in Melbourne.

When I booked I specifically requested a very experienced masseur.
I got a girl with 2 years experience who sniffed during the treatment, clearly wasn't experienced and hurt the right side of my lower back.
Asked for another masseur during the treatment. Better but again not overly experienced.
The place is noisy - mostly from receptionists.
I asked for my money back and was told I needed to leave in first 15 minutes to get my money back.
After phoning manager I was given 50% back.
Came out in pain and feeling sick.
Home to the roller and deep heat.
Would not recommend going to Aroma.

We are very careful in all the treatment and give the best as we can with the customer. For the treatment 90 mins Fusion plus Back Scrub as promotion total of 100 minutes in your case regarding the complaint last Sunday, For that Thank you for the Review.. Normally, before we start the treatment have to fill out the consultation form to know all your concern. You advise us if you can have experienced therapist to do the treatment for you and we provide to you, we gave experienced and requested therapist as you wished for. And for the consultation, you stated that you would like to have a firm to strong pressure also you would like the Therapist to concentrate on your problem areas like your shoulder, thigh muscle, the legs and the most important which is your lower back and you also stated that it is a very sore part and we are very careful on that, And as you can see when you enter in the treatment room we have a CUSTOMER PLEASE NOTE stating, " Due to the rooms having an open ceiling we apologize in advance of any environmental noises and hoping that the noises does not interrupt your relaxation" and we also stated in the note that "Please let the Therapist know if the pressure is not right within the first 10 mins of the treatment so they can adjust accordingly".
When the treatment started the therapist are tried to accommodate what your concern especially about the pressure, she tried to ask the pressure often if the pressure is right or not. But still you are not happy, and then you asked for new therapist so we changed Therapist for you. After the whole 100 minutes treatment finish we thought that everything is fine but then when you went out you start yelling in the reception saying that You want your money back, because the room too noisy and the therapist hurt your lower back . At first the receptionist tried to explain everything in a polite manner and gave you a choice according to our rules and regulations stated:
* If you are not happy with any facet of your treatment please let the receptionist know or contact the owner directly to discuss on aromathai.contact@gmail .com and we will contact you within 48 hours.
but you still insisting you want your money back straight away. As far as we are concern about you we gave your money back 50%, supposed to be if you can see the rules and regulation here, if you are not happy with the service and if you would like your money back you have to stop your therapist within the first 10 mins of the treatment, but in your case you still continue the 100 mins treatment and when it’s finished that's the time you insist us to get your money back. Well the costumer are really important to us did our best to make them satisfied with the service we are happy for any suggestion to improve our service.

One disappointment with this massage place was that there was no sign out the front indicating whether the massage could occur totally unclothed. Personally, I loathe the constricting effects of underclothing during massage. At least if there is a sign out the front, you can decide to take your business elsewhere. In this case, there was no sign and I had already paid by the time the masseur said: "Take off your clothes but leave your underpants on."
The massage itself was adequate but I believe it was hindered by the underclothing.
I believe these massage places should be entirely frank and state their requirements with a sign at the front desk so you can decide to go elsewhere. It is not a question of morality but merely of comfort and achieving the best massage results.
So that is my main reservation with this place. I would not return.

A-MAZING!! Very experienced Thai masseuses that simply know what they're doing. From the moment you step in to Aroma Thai, your senses will unwind from the relaxing ambience and scents of aromatherapy oils. Lovely staff that will make you naturally feel comfortable and a massage that will make you want to come back time and time again - just like me!
Prices are good, you can select what oil blend for your treatment and therapists are professional and friendly- you can choose what pressure suits you best. The massage beds are oh so comfy and to top it all off you can sit and relax (or get your bearings) over a warming traditional Thai tea after your treatment. The friendly staff have offered me a top up on numerous occasions!
I stumbled across this little gem on my lunch break and have not looked back. I have been to countless massage therapists and I can say that Aroma Thai is hands down the best Thai Massage I've experienced in Melbourne.

I went to this shop yester day and I chose the massage called Original Thai for an hour. Very clean, big and very comfortable massage bed, Aroma fragrance and professional massage skill... just all services are wonderful~@@@ If you looking for a Thai Massage? I highly recommend this shop*****

Incredible! Just a random walk in and I found the best massage experience EVER.
Receptionist was so friendly, welcome any questions from me and phone calls.
My therapist today was Coco.
I have to say, SHE IS THE BEST I HAVE EVER MET!
I got deep tissue today for my extremely tight muscle.
She has absolutely professional skill, every press goes to 100% effects on my muscle.
She’s very friendly to ask me about the pressure, and during the whole 60 minutes she didn’t lighten the press.
I know this is such a hard job, but she did it so well and I would say close to perfect.
I love this place and definitely recommend.
And I will give Coco 100 stars! 🌟

Had massages in many places but this place is one of the Best!!! My husband and I had 2 1/2 hours treatment feel soooo relaxed! You guys are really amazing!

My body was in all kinds of pain after walking miles in Melbourne! My daughter and I booked the Indulgence package-2 1/2 hours of perfect, professional reflexology, scrub, massage and facial. Up there with the best I have had and excellent value.

I visit Thai Aroma every two weeks. The staff are just beautiful people - when you walk in you are treated like royalty, the facilities are exceptional and the service is amazing. I have never visited such a fantastic massage place before and I will NEVER use any other place. I highly recommend you step inside this little piece of paradise and be taken away to a beautiful island in Thailand. Superb experience every time. A++++++++++

Thanks for your feedback, I believe what you complained regarding the not experienced masseur and the noise made by the receptionists.
Unfortunately these massage outlets employ travelers, backpackers and students who are in need of money though they only get a very very tin share of what you paid that is way these masseurs are CHEAP.
And regarding the noisy receptionists the problem also lies within the environment which is NOT suited for a quite and relaxed experience.
