Cafe system shambolic!

Food clearly displayed but unavailable. Order eventually taken but not served. When I questioned why I was unable to have the food on display I was informed "it isn't cooked". A... read more

Food clearly displayed but unavailable. Order eventually taken but not served. When I questioned why I was unable to have the food on display I was informed "it isn't cooked". A pot of tea ordered and then served well before the food was eventually ready. I was showing friends from Scotland the beautiful Skyhigh area and to say this unacceptable... More

We were in the area and drove up Mt Dandenong to check out the view. Although only 670 metres above sea level, its frankly one of the few places to get a view of the city from a distance. Kangaroo Ground is another, but this view from Mt Dandenong was spectacular. You could see the entire city stretched before you,... More

The day we went up here it was very overcast and foggy, I can picture it in my mind and I think on a clear day and it will be an amazing view of Melbourne City. The maze was closed (was a Monday when we went) which we would have loved to have done, there was no explanation to why... More

We were driving through the Dandenongs and decided to stop at Sky High. It was $6 admission and although it was a cold windy day we enjoyed the stay. We were given a free map which showed all the places of interest but the actual signs were not very clear. We couldn't go in the Secret Garden because a wedding... More

As soon as I got to the main gate I thought I was to good to be true, and my God how I was right! The old bloke may seem friendly however he locked me in! I was in the rain waiting for the security to come and after 1hour, I finally saw a friendly face. My saviour! Over all... More

It was a perfect day for our drive through The Dandenongs and we decided to go up to Sky High. We had no objection to paying the $6 fee for parking which is to help with maintenance of the area and toilet facilities. However both my husband and I used the toilets and were totally disgusted at how dirty they... More

Nice parkland and beautiful views of Melbourne. The location was clean and tidy except the toilets which were disgusting. Entrance fee is cheap and parking is plentiful. The kids enjoyed the maze.

Mt Dandenong is about 663m above sea level. Entry fee is $6 per car. Up the top are several car parks available, a function centre, bistro & restaurant, an English Garden, Secret Garden available for private bookings, a maze ($6 per adult and it was good fun!), large BBQ area with plenty of picnic tables and great views. Access to... More

Really enjoyed our bistro lunch after a morning walk in the Dandenong Ranges. Food was good in quality, portions were ample, service was prompt, and the view from the restaurant makes this a very pleasant setting for lunch. Would definitely return.

Easy access roads, plenty of parking cafe and restaurant (bookings essential). Stroll around and admire the breathtaking views of South East Melbourne and beyond. Surrounded by native trees. Small entrance fee but very well worth it. Take a picnic and have a great day. Wear hats and sunscreen on sunny days.
