- Robert D5,137 contributionsNice selection of shopsMy friend and I spent several hours here. We had lunch at the food court. Then we browsed the shops. After shopping, we went to The LUME, which is adjacent to the outlets. (There is supposed to be a tourist lounge where out of area visitors can pick up coupons. I could not find that lounge so I would say to download the coupons on your phone beforehand.)Visited October 2023Travelled with friendsWritten 8 November 2023

I think we just went at the wrong time, end of year is not the right time. It just looked like it was a seconds dumping ground. - CarloHelmondHelmond, The Netherlands725 contributionsSome shopping and foodDriving an RV can be a challenge especially in finding a parking place, but it wasn't too bad here as there is a parking garage but also an outdoor parking place. The roads around it are a little confusing so keep an eye out for the navigation. It is a good place to look around for certain items. What always gets me that there are quite a few expensice brands/shops. I understand they try to sell to, but in general i could do with some 'normal' shops. Having said that, there are many shops around that were interesting and it also provides different restaurantsVisited August 2024Travelled with familyWritten 14 August 2024

My wife and I visited this place to do some shopping, after visiting The Lume at The Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Building located next to this place.
This place is a shopper's paradise with all the top brands being represented with shops. The shops include Kathmandu, The North Face, Columbia, Macpac, Nike, Adidas, Asics, Fila, Guess, Calvin Klein, Polo Ralph Lauren, Merrell (hiking shoes), Samsonite, Coach, Lindt, Cotton On, etc.
Prices are very good when being sold as clearance items and factory outlet discounts. We bought a few items and spent a few hundred dollars.

If you like a good bargain, here’s a great place for you to shop from 10-6pm daily! The Friday opens till 9pm .. a great place you can buy a good price for all brands of apparels and shoes. Food court located inside if you are thirsty or hungry. A short walk outside leading to Crown casino that you can enjoy a good dinner after day of shopping. Great location and carpark charges can be crazy provided you did shop and get a free or discounts parking coupon from the stall! Enjoy shopping ..

Review is for GREAT ENERGY MASSAGE in the DFO complex.
Was supposed to be 90min deep tissue massage.
Technique was not good and she did not seem to spend any extra time on obviously tight areas.
She didn't ask how much pressure I wanted, so I had to ask her to use more and she still didn’t!
I could barely feel it.
The place was very noisy with customers using very loud voices and making phone calls on loud speaker. The staff should’ve said something to them. It completely destroys any relaxation you are trying to have.
Spent over $300 for my daughter and I, and it feels like I threw hard earned money down the toilet.
So disappointed!!

We came here after visiting the South Melbourne Market, on our 5th day afternoon.
We only walked level 1 n B1 for sports shoes, pants & clothing.
We bought 4 pairs of sports shoes @ 50+ each, a puma t shirt @24, a very nice jacket reduced price from 630+ to 125, 2 pair of pants @75 each.
Heard from neice bf that Fri & Sat has better sales items sometimes.
Well. Not all are cheap but u can still find acceptable n gd quality stuff here @ reasonable price.
Oh. We ate one of the worst Asian food (sweet sour chicken/rice @9 per box, n lemon chicken @9 too, at B1, a jap/Asian food stall at the middle of this food court.

The Direct Factory Outlet at South Wharf is a paradise for bargain hunters. South Wharf is a prime retail and recreation area, on the South Bank of the Yarra River. DFO South Bank specializes in designer brands, which are frequently discounted by 70 percent or more. Shoppers can buy anything from a fashionable bra to a pair of stylish runners at a discount. The quality the of merchandise is high and the prices are extremely competitive.

Me and my husband visited DFO at the start of June and really enjoyed our time there. We probably spent about 2 1/2 - 3 hours there and that was including lunch in the food court. Great selection at the food court and had a delicious lunch!! Got New Balance trainers for $100, great deals at Cotton On and my husband got a pair of Timberlands for $160, which was amazing! Nice easy walk from central Melbourne and would definitely recommend for a shopping experience!!

We enjoyed shopping at the dfo in South Wharf. My 13 year old enjoyed her trip, finding many clothing shops to enjoy. As for bargains, we got a few but we also paid normal price for a lot of items also. Parking was very expensive. $24 and that was with the half price validation for 2 hours. Would have liked to spend more time here.

We bought some boots for my girlfriend, it was on sale for (original $170) $80. If you buy two pairs it’s $20 for each, some lovely lady saw us and wanted to buy her pair and ours together. So we bought In the Name of branded boots for $20.
Not everything is on sale though, I paid $80 at JBHIFI for a movie and two seasons of a tv show.
Pretty good to walk from southern cross station and plenty of other deals.

Hi omad18918528373,
Thank you for the question.
There are two tram stops within 3mins' walk to DFO South Wharf. The first stop is in Flinders Street (The Goods Shed - stop D5) and the second stope is Claredon street (MCEC/Crown Casino - stop 124a, next stop from Batman street but be aware lease this is a paid stop).
Corelle outlet is not available in DFOSW however Match Box and Royal Doulton offer similar glassware.
Kind regards,
DFO South Wharf
