My first visit to Luna and appreciated the very warm welcome and lovely cup of green tea on a cold and stormy day. The hot stone massage with Eri was brilliant, one of the best massages I can remember and highly recommended. I would be struggling to think of a better way to pamper myself! Looking forward to my next visit.

I spent 2 1/2 hours enjoying the care and expertise at Luna. The staff were lovely and welcoming and very good at what they do. A wonderful experience!

Have been going here for years & make sure I make an appointment every time I'm in town. Haven't tried the facials but can vouch for the great massages & nice people working there. Agree with what others have said about showing up broken & walking out feeling much better!!

I've been looking for a good massage place close to home for a while and recently found this place which has great online reviews, so I decided to give it a try. Booked for a 30-minutes back revivers session, and with the pricing of $75/0.5 hour, I expected a good experience or at least a warm service. However, the masseuse that hosted me seemed to be in a total rush. I was asked to pay the full amount before I received any service because 'it was my first time there', and the whole massage only lasted for 20 minutes. It was on the Monday night and I understand that everyone wants to go home early, but that's not the way to treat a customer who's paying a decent amount for a decent service. Doesn't worth the money at all. Will never come back!

Hello Doris thank you for feedback and for mentioning the other great reviews you have read online. We are very proud of the reviews online and were very concerned that the therapist rushed you so we looked at the security cameras and noticed you failed to mention that you were running late yourself to the 7:30 appointment you booked with us.
If the 5 clients before you were all running 4 minutes late and we made up the extra time in room, we would have started your massage at 7:50PM. We also have many clients who must be somewhere after their treatment, so its incredibly important we stick to schedule.
Also our therapist didn’t want to go home early, she wanted to go home on time. We think that’s fair and reasonable.
We are sorry you felt you didn’t receive a good experience, however we don’t think we should put our clients and staff out if you are running late to an appointment.
We take the time to respond to our reviews because it’s important that everyone who reads them has all the information. At the end of the day, you felt rushed. If you were on time, you wouldn’t have felt rushed, and received more time in the room.
The cameras had you walking in the front door at 7:34 PM, these clocks are synced with The University of Melbourne time servers. We are unsure where the hi-caps machine gets its time.

Overall I was unimpressed. $95 for a 60 minute msssage is not exactly cheap (above average in my experience) so considering this price, & all the positive reviews; I had expectations of a reasonably high quality massage.
Started poorly with cold oil put onto masseurs hands & then straight onto my skin. Instantly made me tense up... why would someone miss such a basic? To be fair, there seemed to be a 2’nd bottle of oil on a warmer. So the cold oil only happened a couple of times throughout the massage. But with 3 years training in massage, to not warm the oil in her hands first? ( I asked the masseur about qualifications mid way through my massage & she said 3 year training. Myotherapy apparently? Felt more like she had been trained with a 2 day introduction to massage type weekend course) Anyhow, within about two to three minutes she was trying to work out my very tender sore knots under my scapula with her elbow. Very Minimal introduction & manipulation beforehand to get things loose, warm & flowing before going full strength in with her elbows. Not impressed. Technique was very lacking Her inconsistent ability to hit trigger points & varied pressure for the remainder of the massage had me questioning what exactly she was doing at times. It also felt like she was tired, yet it was a mid-morning massage? All in all an incredibly lack lustre massage. A very average experience & poor value for money. I won’t be going back in a hurry & would not recommend. In fact I feel very disappointed & somewhat ripped off from the whole experience.

Both the therapist and Manager were very surprised to hear of your disappointment in your review. We wish you'd mentioned your concerns particularly during the treatment or immediately afterwards, so we could have addressed them on the spot. We strive to have excellent communication with our clients. As always any concerns will be addressed to improve the experience for all of our clients.
All of our therapists are fully qualified and we are particular about our therapists and their Remedial Massage experience. The therapist you had has over 10 years Massage experience and has recently extended her training to include Myotherapy/Dry Needling and has been working at LUNA for 3 years.
We apologise that you feel disappointed and will take all of your feedback on board.

I recently went to Melbourne with my brother and sister-in-law (who is seriously into Scoopons) and she booked us into a massage one day in the Docklands, a nice walk from our hotel at the Crown Plaza. I have had a lot of massages in my time due to sports, etc. but I want to recommend this place as having had the best massage I have ever had. My brother and sister-in-law agree with me. The staff are fantastically friendly and helpful so if you're looking for something to treat yourself to whilst in Melbourne, drop in and say hi and enjoy!!! It's not that expensive either.

I chose Luna from doing a goggle search for Spa's in Melbourne, because it showed a picture of the therapists and the packages looked ideal. Luna was very easy to find. We were able to book 3 of us in the Head to Toe package (3 hour Package: 30 minute Foot Reviver, 30 minute Back Reviver, 60 minute Hot Stone massage, 60 minute Facial). We were met by Laura, who turns out after a bit of conversation that she came from where we were from in Liverpool.
Our therapist were Laura, Nobuko and Mika. We were all very pleased with our treatment. The 3 hours went over very quickly and we all came out very relaxed.
It was a wonderful wy to spend a afternoon. I think Maddy will be back, unfortunately Dee and have come back to Liverpool.

My daughter booked a massage for her husband. She went in to labour very early and called to cancel. She was assured that the booking could be changed. She actually gave birth at the time of the scheduled appointment. When she contacted them to book another time they have refused to honor the agreement and have taken the money for no service. If they had told her at the time of cancellation she would have organized someone else to go. This was not a frivolous cancellation and it is disappointing that you would not honour her booking that she was assured would be held for her.

Thank you for your comments made in relation to the booking that your daughter arranged for her husband. We understand that your daughter went into very early labour and that babies do not arrive at a prescribed time and/or day.
We acknowledge that it certainly was not a frivolous cancellation and circumstances had certainly changed in the time of making the first booking.
When we received the second booking, we called and discussed with your daughter the basis of the replacement booking and gave her options with regards to the previous and the new booking requested.
The second booking was cancelled, and arrangements were made to refund the monies owed to your daughter, which have since been transacted.
