About
Our first store to open in Melbourne back in the 1960s, 26 Collins Street is located at the top end of town otherwise known as ‘The Paris End’. The store has a design element of a Paris boutique and is very popular with corporate Melbourne. Our team often provide chocolates to nearby 5-star hotels including the famous Windsor, and also to the parliamentarians from just around the corner in Spring Street.

Full of discovery and delight, Melbourne’s laneways tease the imagination long after you’ve put your weary feet up to rest. They weave through the heart of the city: cafes, bars, restaurants and boutiques, throbbing with conversation and espresso coffee. You never quite know what you’ll find around the next corner: cobblestone alleys, old beer barrel hoists and even vats of simmering organic soup. There is the air of Berlin in the street art, a touch of Paris in the umbrella-shaded cafes and, reminiscent of Rome, eateries tucked away in the most unlikely of places. Perhaps you might want a break and cross the Yarra River to Southbank - walk along the promenade, bask in the sun at a waterside bar and decide whether to go to the nearby casino or book a ticket at the Melbourne theatre company.

Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

We stopped by on our way to the NGV and bought a 1/2 dozen bon bons. Service was efficient and there were a wide variety of chocolates. We enjoyed the salted caramel and forest fruit cream.

I've just finished eating a selection of Haigh's hand-dipped chocolate truffles, coming in flavours of milk, dark and white chocolate. I think Haigh's make Australia;s best chocolates, we visit their showroom every time we visit Adelaide, Haigh's home town.. In the meantime, the Collins St chocolate shop is a good substitute.

The Richness of their Chocolate snd varieties "Just Can't Get Enough"
Although quite pricey.
When you bite into the chocolate filled with Lemon Myrtle, you forget what you paid.
They cater for all seasons and celecrations.
I wish that they would bring back the chocolate filled bannana caramel, you won't be disappointed.
The seasonal Rocky Road and Toasted Mashmallows are a must.
Don't walk out without a free chocolate sample

Well, they have the best chocolate in AUS, i think. I've tried the other like K**O but compare with the price and taste, i prefer Haigh's. My fam & friends also love it. And you can buy them as souvenir/gift, very lovely.

Just walked past the Elizabeth St store, thought it looked nice so wanted to take a photo (I'm from out of town). Lovely girl in side started chatting and gave me a sample of their Brandy truffle. It was so nice I said I'd take a box! Then she helped me with other flavours and I ended up buying a few different things.
YUM! So nice, I will now have to order online and get shipped up here to Qld.

Whenever I am in the city I always pop in for something. The staff are very helpful with their suggestions. I love their coconut rough and truffles. They will wrap it nicely if you ask. It would be great place for travellers to buy presents for friends. It not a cheap place but you get real quality chocolates.
