I just went and saw the Aladdin show with my Mum and Gran last night. It was so funny and definitely worth seeing. I might even go again! The Genie absolutely stole the show – what a laugh! I could definitely tell everyone involved had...More

What can I say about this beautiful old girl? It takes you back to years gone by to dig in the old seats and climb the old stairs amongst the old photos. Such a delightful night and dinner at the Elephant and Wheelbarrow was a...More

A nice old theatre that could benefit from some work, but a wonderful performance of Aladdin The Musical. Highly recommended.

What a fun night. The story lovely, the leads great and the ensemble did a Fantastic job. How did they make the magic carpet fly without strings. Quite amazing. The music is fun, the theatre grand and comfortable. You should take in a show when...More

Went to watch Aladdin The Musical. The theatre has an old school charm in the colours and structures, including the seating plans. It surprised me however, to see that this theatre, albeit the traditional and old charm, has great state of the art facility on...More

The seats are tiny!!! Not a lot of room between seats plus if you're tall- over 5.10 you're in for a terrible night. I saw Aladdin here. Loved the show however I was seated in the stalls in row Q and there was no leg...More

Dear Bindi B Thank you for your review. I am thrilled that you enjoyed the show. However I have to contest your statement that the seats at Her Majesty's Theatre are tiny....they are regulation distance apart, new seating was installed in 2008 and the seats...More

Thrilled to be in town and got the last perfect seat: 2nd row on the dress circle. Her Majesty's was a charming escape from the pouring Melbourne rain. The building is beautifully restored but showing wear and tear. It was an afternoon full-house with families...More

Aladdin, I liked it but I didn't love it. Visually the show is beautiful, it is worth seeing just for the set design and costumes. Aladdin and Genie are by far the stand outs. The dancing is great but the vocals, with the exception of...More

Locals know that Chinatown is the tried and true place

I always avoid the restricted areas just in case.
Is the Director's Box upgrade worth getting for pre-show and the interval? How much is it to upgrade? We have already purchased "Producer Reserve" tickets for Aladdin on 06/08/2017 for the 1.00pm show.. Your feedback would be much appreciated. Thanks, Mark :)
