I have many trips to the Melbourne Central Business District. These gardens are awesome. Sun filled with great lawns and tree covered shade. A great place for a break or just to contemplate.

the gardens are superbly well kept. friendly possums prance around these cute, furry and comical creatures prance around the garden and peeps out from the trees at the many passer bys. worth a nice stroll if you are headed to queen victoria market.

Daytime provides a welcome break from work/sightseeing but evening is enchanted, with the squirrels coming out to play. Take some crusts and feed the little critters right there in Latrobe Street. Magical.

Nice hill garden with little childen playground. Lot of big trees. Well maintain. A bit dangerous with children skateboarding, bicycle, run down the slope may accidentally get out onto busy road. They should have some sort of gate or bollards at the entrances.

Your kids and your dogs will have fun exploring this well-landscaped park. I enjoyed watching people practice lawn bowling, which I had never seen before. I'm sure it is even more fine with beer. Luckily, the club facilities provide, at least for members. For the...More

Walked from the pegusus hotel to William Inglis conference centre in La Trobe and it was a delightful start to the day. Gorgeous trees. Open spaces. Discrete paths. A lovely location.

Full of discovery and delight, Melbourne’s laneways
tease the imagination long after you’ve put your weary
feet up to rest. They weave through the heart of the
city: cafes, bars, restaurants and boutiques,
throbbing with conversation and espresso coffee. You
never quite know what you’ll find around the next
corner: cobblestone alleys, old beer barrel hoists and
even vats of simmering organic soup. There is the air
