This is a Must Visit! Royal Botanic Gardens is exquisitely beautiful and picturesque. The gardens are so well kept, the wildlife gorgeous and trees, flowers and plants breathtaking!
The Gardens has so many amenities including Visitor Centre and hosts so many great theatre shows and the moonlit cinema. Love it all!

We enjoyed a walk through the lake area and along the shaded forest walk. Also don’t miss the volcano which is part of the watering system of the gardens. A must do and so close to Melbourne city centre.

Stunning gardens which are beautifully maintained and well-stocked with plants from far and wide. Once inside it’s hard to believe that one is so close to the centre of such a large bustling city, if not for the magnificent views of the city skyline.

First time I've been to the gardens in over 40years. WOW it was terrific....I loved the little paths that weaved in and around the gardens. Cannot believe this is in the middle of Melbourne. An oasis. Must go. Bring a picnic blanket and read a book or just meander around the gardens....you can get lost!

I have visited the Botanical Gardens in Sydney, Adelaide, Brisbane, Perth and Melbourne. In my opinion, The Royal Botanical Gardens in Melbourne is the best in Australia.

My wife and I spent 3.5 hours walking across the various paths in these extensive Gardens to explore all the attractions, including Guilfoyle's Volcano. We also saw parts of the Gardens that we had not seen before in our previous visits.

While you’re visiting Melbourne you can’t miss a stop to these fantastic gardens; they’re very well looked after and relaxing. You can admire many botanic species and this makes it interesting too.

Saw the explorer at the Plaza. A happening area of the gardens. Our knowledgeable and friendly guide Eugenie took us on a 30 min tour of the gardens. A lovely way to explore the gardens. Even if you are locals like us on a staycation. A must do! Thanks Eugenie pick up point at the Plaza was very convenient and high profile place for sightseers to access the explorer. And visit the gift shop. Lots of lovely Australiana products and reasonably priced. Great friendly service. Thanks Vik ☺️
