Must visit the place. Entry is free. Try to spend a min of half day to walk around. It's well-maintained garden and a very scenic garden. Unbelievable.

Melbourne is blessed to have the Royal Botanical Gardens, they are so beautiful and a great place to unwind from the hustle and bustle of the city. To just walk through the gardens is an experience in itself, the beautiful fragrances of the flowers and plants is so relaxing. The lake and large open grassed areas are perfect for that... More

Right in the middle of the city is this beautiful oasis with hundred of different varieties of trees, flowers, birds and lakes. Great venue for family picnic, a romantic walk or intense work out. Would highly recommend all visitors to spend a few hours in the park.

We took our own champagne and yummy afternoon tea, and were taken around the lake by our charming boatman. After that there was plenty of time to explore the beautiful Botanical Gardens, one of the loveliest area in Melbourne

it is literally nature in town. So near to the city, nice place to hangout in the summer days or maybe to go picnic enjoying some fun in the sun. Also nice place to have a walk and the best part it's free!

The botanic gardens of Melbourne are one of the most beautiful places to be; a absolute MUST SEE. Find a place and sit down at the lake, have a pick-nick and relax in the sunshine in a really calm and relaxing atmosphere.

There is a small garden for Kids which if you are travelling with kids is a must as you can then leave them free and relax and enjoy the scenery.
