Check out our new tours! A full-day Phillip Island tour, a Great Ocean Road tour and an express tour just to the 12 Apostles on the Great Ocean Road! The Little Penguin Bus is a budget-priced express tour operator travelling direct to the Phillip Island Penguin Parade. Enjoy a two hour scenic drive to Phillip Island, with commentary, arriving an hour before the penguins are due to appear. Time for a visit to the cafe, souvenir shopping and learning all about the Little Penguins in the visitor centre. We offer a selection of penguin viewing options and the personal service and small-group atmosphere of much more expensive operators. All fares advertised include return transport and Penguin Parade entry.

David was helpful and informative, going out of his way to find wildlife for overseas visitors and offering tourism information on surrounding areas as well the areas directly connected to the tour. Timely and efficient transport and ticketing. Comfortable bus journey. Highly recommend this tour.

No hassle, relaxing and safe trip the Phillip Island! Our driver David was very knowledgeable and kind. He knew the quickest way to the Island so it allowed us to sit back & relax during our road trip. He provided loads of commentary on the way to the Island and drove us safely back to our hotel when the night... More

We did the guided ranger tour. Left pickup point at 4 pm and was returned to our place of stay at 1230am. Long drive back and forth. David our driver spoke on the way there and gave us an excellent overview of the sights and history of the region. Nice personalized commentary. Nearer the island if one of the occupants... More

We booked the tour while visiting Australia based on the Trip advisor reviews. Party of 6 all adults. The tour and especially our tour guide/driver exceeded all expectations. Just like their site says we traveled the less beaten path behind all the crowds we had time to see all the regular tourist attractions such as the Rain Forrest stop or... More

My 11 year old daughter and I visited Phillip Island with the Little Penguin Bus in January 2017. I loved the fact that the tour was on a small bus and that mate the experience a lot more intimate and you were able to communicate with the driver and ask questions about the penguins or the scenery. I thoroughly recommend... More

Hi minis. Thanks for the review. I'm delighted to hear you enjoyed the small group penguin express tour. We are leaving earlier than usual at the moment just to be comfortable with the unpredictable holiday traffic and major roadworks happening on every Melbourne freeway! I don't think a 4pm or 5pm departure will make a lot of difference to most... More

Visiting Melbourne with a friend, actually visiting many 'tourist' spots in Australia. Saw Sydney, Port Douglas and the final stop Melbourne (in that order). In all we took at least half a dozen 'tours' where we were driven or took a boat to explore all that Oz has to offer and this was by far the best. Katie was our... More

One of my bucket list items was to see the little penguins (they used to be known as the "fairy penguins") return to their home on Phillips Island. This is known locally as the "penguin parade" and occurs every night at sundown. I first saw the penguins 16 years ago using a different company. The tour took all day and... More

Hi Meredith It was so wonderful to have you travelling with us again. I'm only sorry we didn't get to meet this time. We have grown a bit since last time and I'm not getting out on the road so often. Staying in Central Business District

Neighbourhood Profile
Central Business District
Full of discovery and delight, Melbourne’s laneways tease the imagination long after you’ve put your weary feet up to rest. They weave through the heart of the city: cafes, bars, restaurants and boutiques, throbbing with conversation and espresso coffee. You never quite know what you’ll find around the next corner: cobblestone alleys, old beer barrel hoists and even vats of simmering organic soup. There is the air of Berlin in the street art, a touch of Paris in the umbrella-shaded cafes and, reminiscent of Rome, eateries tucked away in the most unlikely of places. Perhaps you might want a break and cross the Yarra River to Southbank - walk along the promenade, bask in the sun at a waterside bar and decide whether to go to the nearby casino or book a ticket at the Melbourne theatre company.
