I never write reviews but felt so happy with the experience I feel it deserves recognition! The Great Ocean Road was fantastic but I strongly believe the small group size and the tour guide really made the trip as good as it was. Lee's enthusiasm, knowledge and fantastic attitude made such a difference to the day and the day is... More

It was an amazing experience learning about the little penguins and watching them return from a long day at sea! Our tour guide Nicki was awesome and gave us the most wonderful tour. So glad there was an express Penguin Parade tour with The Little Penguin Bus, the tour leaves only at 3.30pm and goes straight to Philip Island for... More

My friend + I only had 3 days in Melbourne so wanted to make the most of our time. We did the great ocean road tour with Lee on the Wednesday which was amazing! Although it's a long day it's well worth the effort. Our second trip the day after was with David to Philip island. Again another great day!... More

Lee was our guide and we had a great experience. We not only saw the penguin parade, but Lee took us around to different spots on the island to see the surf, beaches, and wildlife. This tour is a must for everyone! Very entertaining!

Would highly recommend the guided ranger tour booked through the little penguin bus. Our guide David was great, friendly with lots of local knowledge on the bus. The guided ranger tour adds better viewing position, and you are looked after by a ranger in a small group away from the crowds..Thanks David for a fantastic trip to see an amazing... More

What a wonderful tour to Philip Island. We had a good day with a nice and professionel driver/guide. The ride was very interesting and Philip Island is just great nature. The penguis were lovely and we even saw some wallabies. Highly recommended!

We were a group of 11 (6 adults and 5 children) visiting MEL last week. Due to schedule conflicts we could not decide on our tour dates until the day before. We called a bunch of tour operators and everyone was completely booked. Then I spoke to Neville from The Little Penguin Bus who was also booked but told me... More

Very nice day trip from Melbourne! The bus was comfortable and brand new. We stopped along the way for photo ops. We happened to have a small group that day (only 4 of us) and our driver was friendly, punctual, and very knowledgeable! We had such a great day, we booked the penguins tour with them for the next day!... More

Staying in Central Business District

Neighbourhood Profile
Central Business District
Full of discovery and delight, Melbourne’s laneways tease the imagination long after you’ve put your weary feet up to rest. They weave through the heart of the city: cafes, bars, restaurants and boutiques, throbbing with conversation and espresso coffee. You never quite know what you’ll find around the next corner: cobblestone alleys, old beer barrel hoists and even vats of simmering organic soup. There is the air of Berlin in the street art, a touch of Paris in the umbrella-shaded cafes and, reminiscent of Rome, eateries tucked away in the most unlikely of places. Perhaps you might want a break and cross the Yarra River to Southbank - walk along the promenade, bask in the sun at a waterside bar and decide whether to go to the nearby casino or book a ticket at the Melbourne theatre company.
