Handsomely decorated with leather couches, antique armchairs and featuring a number of intimate and secluded curtain areas; BOSS is the essence of elegance and old world inner-city sophistication. The walls adorned with subtle oriental inspired wallpaper and similarly inspired works of art make for the supreme backdrop. BOSS’s well reputed Asian tapas menu is the ideal accompaniment to any cocktail, imported beer, international or local wine, particularly when one wishes to share with friends.

On seeing the entrance strewn wuth rubbish I was a bit apprehensive on entering. This only became wirse when seeing rubbish and piled up oldfurniture in the staircase .The pkace looks nothing like the website. Rooms cramped all controls in Korean. Drinks not made well and unsure of the ingredients. Sound system terrible.

Is this place actually a joke? got there, they didn't open the venue till 30 minutes after we had arranged to arrive via a confirmed phone booking; so we were stuck in the street. We rung the door bell possibly 30 times and I personally called the venue at least 10 times trying to figure out what was going on.... More

I booked here for my 19th birthday, for 15 people. They didn't call to confirm the booking as stated on the website, so I called them. I called over 12 times to hear their message bank was full so I couldn't even leave a message. Finally after 3 emails somebody called me back. I made a booking from 8:30-11:30pm and... More

Incredibly rude customer service. Tried to pass off terms and conditions we had never been provided with as related to us and were incredibly rude about everything. Will not go back.

The staff at this venue are rude, unhelpful and do not seem to understand the concept of customer service. Alex (or at least thats the name he gave) the bartender, takes the cake. The deal we purchased was not honoured and the staff made little to no effort to rectify the situation despite booking a month in advance and confirming... More

Myself and group of friends had coupons entitling us to 2 drinks and a meal each. We made a booking for 20 people (which was confirmed by Chi Lounge to be fine) but at last minute 2 people couldn't make it. The remaining 18 showed up at the lounge as planned and were blatantly refused service because we were 2... More

Enjoyed the night as I was with a great group of girls for a hens night. The music system was self managed and to be honest not the easitest to use, also found the selection to be mediocre. On the other food and drinks in the package was great value and we all had a fantastic night.

We went here for a hens do and were told when we wanted to leave after a few hours that we needed to pay over $500?! We asked for their reasoning behind this and said we were charged per head and it was a minimum of $40 per head. When arranging this I had spoken to people twice from the... More

Work cocktail party in the upstairs function room. Great atmosphere and space for a function. Finger food was really nice and the staff were friendly and helpful.

Staying in Chinatown

Neighbourhood Profile
Chinatown
Locals know that Chinatown is the tried and true place to eat before hitting the nightclub scene. The place simply buzzes, and the well-preserved buildings exude a sense of Imperial China stemming from immigration over a century ago. In restaurant after restaurant on Little Bourke Street, you'll find delicious dishes such as sizzling honeyed prawns, and value for your money. Stately matrons oversee family kitchens serving up age-old recipes. The lighting may be unromantic, the patrons loud, and the service no-nonsense, but the food is sensational.
