Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

The worst acoustics ever. We were seated towards the back upper right - protected from the rain, but the sound was terrible. I think this was venue related not all sound peoples fault. Absolutely would not recommend for a concert. Ppl paid big money for white plastic bbq seats in the Centre with crap views.

If you ever go to a concert at this venue, do NOT get a floor seat near the stage! My tickets cost $600 for two, and all I got to see was the back of people’s heads. We were so disappointed. As soon as the band came on, everyone stood up... I had the equivalent of the Hulk and Giagantor in front of me and that was all I saw. Plus when it rained we got soaked. Friends in the stands not only got a great view, they also stayed dry. Our seats were so cramped I had zero room. A lady next to me was larger sized and spilled into my space. I tried to go into the aisle to get a better view, mindful of keeping the aisle clear and not blocking anyone else’s view but a Nazi security dude ordered me back to my blind seats. So...I think Queen were there, I could hear them and sometimes glimpse them. But AAMI have a massive nerve asking big bucks for seats with zero views. Such a let down after anticipating this concert of a lifetime.

We attended AAMI Park to see Queen play. We were seated in section 37, which was the section at the end of the playing field, virtually opposite the stage. Although we were a long way from the stage, we were seated under cover and on an incline, meaning we had an uninterrupted view. Binoculars were a great help d very necessary. Even with a large screen at the back of the stage, it was hard to see. In reality, we had better seats than the people on the grassed area, who all had to stand for the entire concert as they couldn't see for the people in front of them and were out in the rain.
Accoustics was not the best, but I suppose you can't expect too much in an open air venue.
One negative was we did have to look through some scaffolding holding up speakers and lights. Not as bad as it sounds as the scaffolding was minimal and obscured our view of the side of the stage but still a slight obstruction.

Went to a football match but wasn’t allowed to buy a ticket .. was told this was the future. I tried to buy on line and it tried to charge me twice the minimum price as I then enquired was still available. What a terrible situation.
Actually a joke. This is the future ?? .. where going to a game is no longer simply passing a sum of money or card at the turnstile. But having to subscribe and understand an app.
No thanks not for me! Will not go back.

Either the sound engineers were from the local high school or this is an atrocious choice as a concert venue. The sound was appalling, I have never experienced echo like this before and the vocals were drowned out by the cacophony of sound waves smashing into each other. Such a shame they couldn't get into Rod Laver. Judging by the layout this would be a fantastic soccer stadium, which is what it is, concert venue it certainly is not.

I really like This stadium. It’s not too large and the staff are really quite helpful and friendly.
What I don’t like is the food and drink
Prices - they are quite horrendous. How you can charge $6 for a single bottle of water is beyond me, when you can buy a 24 pack for $7 in coles (admittedly when they are half price.)
It’s price gouging and it’s disgusting 🤮

Hard to review a sporting stadium in the category of 'things to do' - I mean lets be honest about it!
However as stadiums go it's got an interesting design, is fairly easy to navigate your way around and being so close to other sporting venues and with good access from multiple directions it's a pretty handy place to stage events. Richmond train station is probably the nearest actual station though it's very easy to get to this area via tram from the Flinders Street area of Melbourne too.
As you'd expect this place is somewhat soulless and of course if you want to eat something while watching the game you'd better hope you're working a second job but that's the same in all such locations.

My favourite sports stadium in Melbourne. Easy to get to either by foot, public transport or car, looks great from the outside and even better on the inside as you can get real close to the action and you can get a great view from any seat. Only criticism I have is I wish it was slightly bigger, should have been at least a 40,000 seater.

My husband and I went to Australia over a year ago and I got tickets for him to go to a Rugby game there and he had an awesome time. They sold a seasoned ticket holders seat to him and he was displaced, but not any worse of a seat, pretty much the same, so all in all he had a great time. Even bought a jacket and it has come in handy with the cold weather we have had this year in California!

Headed to Victoria for A-League 2022 finals. Unfortunately the team I support (Adelaide United) did not win but what a great experience. Very impressive stadium. Modern facilities. Easy to move around. Nice seating. Enjoyed the experience at AAMI Park in Melbourne. Can’t wait for my next experience here.

Help me please!
My husband is an avid supporter of Melbourne, but we live out of state and never been to Victoria. I'm planning to surprise him with a weekend in Melbourne and a home game at AAMI Park 😊 Either 20th July vs Roosters or 3rd August vs Dragons.
My question is seating. Where is the best seating for Melbourne supporters there? I saw clubhouse tickets. Do we need to be members to get these tickets? Is it worth the extra for a Melbourne supporter? I'm a Canterbury supporter so it doesn't bother me much but I want him to have the best experience possible as it's not something we've ever done or can do on a regular basis.
Thanks ☺️

Does anyone know if row order is A,B,C and then eventually AA, BB, CC etc. I’ve looked everywhere on line for the answer. MCG works that way but I know in theatres often AA, BB, etc are the ones in front. We have both B and BB seats and want to know which to keep

Looking at seats in Row B section 75 for concert. Looks like they may avoid too many "dancers" in front & provide rain shelter. Any opinions appreciated. Much cheaper option is Row O Section 86. No rush as Taylor Swift fans likely taking over Ticketek at moment! Thanks in advance.

Has anyone watched a concert from the premium lounge at AAMI stadium Melbourne?
It looks like it's at the stage end of the ground for the Foo Fighters in December so wondering if it's worth the extra $$

We have tickets row W section S85-2 seats 340-1. Is this the back row?

I purchased seats but was told it's the mosh pit at AAMI, the last thing I want. I have tried to look them up, it looks like they are to the left of the stage.
SA6-2 row A. I have tried to ring, no answer.

Thanks to everyone who posted answers to my question about clubhouse tickets. We are coming over from Perth hoping to see The Storm play the panthers at AAMI park on 31st August. Hoping to get good seats under cover. It is my wife's birthday present from me. Hope we haven't left it too late?
