Loved this walking tour . We found out so much about the street art and music culture of Melbourne along with the history and architecture highlights . Our tour guide Harriet was so easy to listen to and chat with . Her knowledge of the area was exceptional . The hot chocolate break was perfectly placed in the middle of the walk. The walk was easy and we clocked around 6 km over the three hours .

melbourne is my favourite city, and this tour shows exactly why. i went on this tour 15 years ago and we saw shops and secret alleys and street art, they’ve just returned now we are out of lockdown and they showed the best restaurants, street art, MORE secret alleys i never knew about, and the history of the city... you didn’t even notice the shops weren’t open, most of the cafes are, and places like CRAFT victoria are real gems you can discover through wandering these streets and laneways. this is how even a melbourner can rediscover the best of their city.

Dear Lushr77, what a true delight to have you join us again after so many years and even more special after the stillness of 2020. We are so pleased you enjoyed our regular new additions, and loved the photos you shared. We are looking at new tours for 2021, so perhaps we can entice you to join us again sooner - not sure we need to wait 15 years again - and hopefully your mum can join too. Kindest regards and thanks from Harriet and myself. Fiona Owner HiddenSecretsTours

A very fine tour, where our guide, Nicole, opened Melbourne for us and showed us to great spots and places of interest. Accompagnied with very relevant and interesting informations about both the history of Melbourne and and all the places we were shown. We would never have foundation the Hidden Lanes and Archades on our own!! Very much recommendable!

Dear Hspe2016 Your thoughts here and the care an observations of our tour are really appreciated. Nicole is such a fine guide, we are so pleased to have her join our team in 2019, her city knowledge, global experience and own personal use of the city and its amazing hospitality industry are such a treat for our guests. We cannot teach what she knows, and that is the delight we have in employing local tour guides who work in other industries such that their knowledge and storytelling is enhanced by their other relevant and contextual experiences. We are so pleased you enjoyed the laneways, and arcades, such a fan we are of these. Kindest regards, safe travels when you can again. Fiona, Nicole and all the team at Hidden Secrets Tours. My friend and I had the luxury of being guided by Charley, who proved to be personable, kind, and extremely knowedable of local history. We were lucky to be the entire "group" so we felt we had a personal guided tour. And the coffee/chocolate break included in the tour was a most welcome treat, indeed! It was most worthwhile!

Dear Stpteach. THANKYOU so much for writing a lovely note here, we have risen from our hibernation, and are so pleased you got to have a tour with Charlie - and just for you!. - We don't have this happen too often, our public tours only need a minimum of 2, so you were in luck that day. So pleased you enjoyed the chocolate stop in the middle of the tour, and that Charlies passion for our local history kept you entertained. Our small streets are just the starting point for these wonderful insights of how Melbourne evolved, and continues to do so today. thank you again for taking the time, we do hope you explore our city again soon, or take a walking tour in the next metropolis you visit. Kind regards Fiona , Charlie and the whole team Hidden Secrets Tours, Melbourne

After a long flight from the USA ... and checking into a hotel . You wonder what made you think of taking a 3 hour walking tour... Well this was the best decision .... Lara was our guide and was on time and gathered the small group . Laid out what was a head for our tour ! Well , the history of Melbourne and the Arcades and all the local stops made this memorable. The stop for coffee in a local shop filled with history was the perfect midway to help us be reenergized. Lara provided tips for the balance of our trip in Melbourne which helped us to maximize our time in this amaizing city. Thank you!

What a trip of a lifetime it now has become, goodness we do hope you got to enjoy our amazing regional features as well as our beloved Melbourne - yes we are all a little besotted, but you wouldn't expect anything else as tour guides. I am so pleased you enjoyed our fabulous Lara's tour, She has been with us now for many years, and as a creative artist herself her city recommendations are great for us guides and managers too! We have been working with the fabulous Koko Black for 16 years, and their special room is ideal for a break mid way. Thank you so much for your kind words and effort to write here. We are getting ready to finally welcome guests back this November Kindest regards Fiona and the team Hidden Secrets Tours - Melbourne
