Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Such an amazing birthday surprise!

Had the absolute delight of experiencing the 3 hour tour with my partner, led by the enthusiastic and knowledgeable Emily.

An experience more than just eating some chocolate, learning about the city, its history and culture, while also learning about AND getting to try a wide range of delicious chocolate along the way.

The staff at each and every store visited were extremely friendly and welcoming, excited to share some of their favourites from their chocolate offerings, all without any pushy or aggressive upselling tactics (the products spoke for themselves, we absolutely picked up some extra goodies throughout!)

As the highlight of my "special day", it was an absolute pleasure to share the journey with Emily and all the amazing chocolate (and more!) retailers!

Best way to spend 3 hours. Our tour guide Emily & her assistant Ivan were excellent. Highly recommend it.

Emily and Ivan were knowledgeable of the area and pointed out a few interesting facts about Melbourne, including one to the traditional land owners, and of course lots about chocolate! I took a punt on one that Ivan suggested and it was worth it! My only thing would be not to plan to eat a big dinner afterwards - you will be full so full of chocolate!

It was really a fun and unique experience, and I recommend it for others. Not only do you learn about the chocolate, but some interesting things about the city as well.

This was a great tour! Meg was our guide. Not only did she share a little local knowledge she also shared chocolate knowledge with it. We got to taste a variety of different chocolates (maybe a little different than we would normally try. The last dessert was a complete surprise, unusual but delicious. Don't get a hot chocolate as I did. I'm so full! Be sure to take this tour!

Absolutely loved our tour with Ivan! We told him that we were new to visiting Melbourne and took us off track and showed us all the landmarks!

Tour was great. Tonya was engaging and knowledgable. We had ten in our tour group, which was a nice size. We enjoyed the samples at the four stores we visited with a highlight being the Bing Su at the last stop (see photo), it was like a shredded chocolate paddlepop with strawberries and boba underneath 🤤.
