Having played over 30+ rooms across Australia and an additional 8 of the top rooms in Europe, the Annabelle room was definitely not worth the money paid. The puzzles did not fit the storyline (or lack thereof) and it felt like the puzzles were just there for the sake of being there, there was only about 3-4 puzzles in total. The host was unenthusiastic, asking us “have you read the story online or would you like me to repeat it”. The only good thing about the room was the theming (and 2 jump scares). Granted, we played with 6 people which was way too many. This room is suited for 2 players. However, save your money there are better places to play a room and that are actually worth the money paid. We’ve had our fair share of amazing rooms (rated best in the world) and some of the worst rooms, and We can tell when the owners have put hard earned effort, love and enthusiasm into the game. This includes everything from the waiting room to the game master and the offer to “go through the room” when we were done. When asked if the host could do a walkthrough the room, she was like “which part?” Additionally, another coworker was already packing up the room (we finished in 45min). The clue system is via a telephone and she even told us “if I don’t answer straight away, I am with customers” - this was no way to dedicate a gamemaster to the game.
If this is your first room, sure I would give it a go because once you do some of the most amazing rooms in the world, this one is not worth the money paid or the experience.

Underwhelming is an understatement, this room claims to have a 4/5 fear factor and it certainly did not live up to its claims. There was only one real scare and that was at the end of the room. Just overall it was disappointing, boring and definitely not worth $42 a person

My friend booked for four people online the night before she didn’t receive a confirmation email so she rang and was told not to worry and that it was all booked in.
We arrived to be told there was no booking for us, and that they were booked out! They could however still find us on file by mobile number and could see that our booking had been “cancelled”. This was extremely disappointing when it’s a three hour round trip for us to get into Melbourne and pay for parking! They offered us 30% off our next visit which I think is an absolute joke after such a stuff up and inconvenience! Especially when we rang to confirm.
We managed to get another booking at Ukiyo, the staff were lovely there and although a slightly different concept to what I have previously played it was a great experience.
In summary, that’s a big fat NO thanks to (get) lost.

I am very sorry for the inconvenience that this night has caused! I do believe there was a miscommunication during the conversation with the staff member. I did message the name that was under the booking and offer a 50% discount for this issue should you wish to book another time with us, hoping you received my text message!

Don't get me wrong, I love zombies and horror and since it was my birthday I was extra excited for the experience. I wasn't aware how cramped the place wouldve been with more people (that I didn't invite but my family did so that was a huge bummer for the experience) I wish the website wouldve stated how small the rooms were because it was really hard to get around the place and look at different puzzles, and the puzzle to open the door was very confusing, it was backwards and looking back I can see how but it just cost us alot of time, I was maybe a little incompetent but it was out of the blue and we had to be told how to do it. The escape room was great, I just wish I was able to enjoy it more without so many there, it was exhausting, not really in the good way.

We do limit the number of participants, unless specifically requested to expand beyond the threshold on the understanding it'll be a little tight. We hope to see you again another time, perhaps with just a couple of friends, for another escape!

We went a group of 5 to this escape room in melbourne. We did the Annabelle room. Beside the technical issue in the room. One of the staff was so rude with us from the start. We could have wisley spend our money somewhere else.
So No need for rolling eyes, and speaking unprofessionally with the costumers.
Secondly, the technical issues were:
- the light went off and we wasted 5 min trying to fix the situation
- one of the locks didnt open with us even though we put the right code. Wasted another 5 minutes.
Finally, a the end one of the staff asked us if there was any difficulties in the game. we genuily answered that it was nice experience and that we think that there was one of the tasks that was almost impossible to be done. The staff looked at us in a offensive way and answered us with an angry voice:" but we helped you!! Didnt we!!". Also with a stupid mean smile on one of staff face, they asked my friend if we took something from escape room😑 Seriously!!
So Dear Staff,
No one wants to come to an entertainment place in order to have a fight or to feel uncomfortable or weird. Try to act nicer, cause us as costumers, we are looking for just pure simple fun in your place. Your job is to make sure that the customer was respectfully guided.
I would be happy to send you manual for how to deal with people in general and costumers in particular.

Great idea and so much fun. And scary!! You know it’s not real but.... everyone screams!!
Try thinking outside the box when solving the riddles but if you get stuck you’re given a phone so you can call for help!

LOST In Melbourne specialises in Horror escape rooms and they do a fantastic job in delivering the fear. I've done quite a few escape rooms and this is the first one where I was unsure if I could get from one room to another due to being afraid. Which, going into a horror themed escape room, is awesome!
We escaped the Before Midnight room and I really wish we'd gotten to try the Annabelle room too. In saying that the group of guys that came out from there seemed shaken so I don't know how well I'd go, haha.
The only downside was that quite a few props had been obviously broken and not repaired. Though this is a reflection more on lack of respect from players rather than anything to do with the staff.

This was our first time doing an escape room and it DID NOT disappoint.
From the scares and jumps to the awesome room designs I can not recommend this enough.
Staff were extremely friendly and very helpful when ever we needed it.
Will be coming back for the other rooms asap

On my birthday I got told I had a surprise. I got to lost in Melbourne and I had the best birthday I have ever had!!. I did the annabelle escape room and I am so impressed in how kind the staff were and how much attention to detail the rooms had. I Definitely recommend doing these thrilling escape rooms.:)

Hi there! Our prices vary. It is $49AUD each for 2 players, $47AUD per player for 3, $45 per player for 4, or $42 per player for 5-8. I hope that clears things up!
