Highly recommend Great Private Tours. My husband and I booked 2 days. First day was Great Ocean Road....Apollo Bay, 12 Apostles, Rainforest and the list goes on. Our driver Errol was fabulous at sharing details about the country and the sites. Second day was Mornington Peninsula, Bathing Boxes, wine tasting at Yarra Valley and the Penguin Parade with several other stops in between. I exchanged a few emails with Sharon, who tweaked the itineraries for us and gave great suggestions based on our input. The response time was outstanding even with the time difference to Canada. I was impressed from the first correspondence and it just got better from there. We couldn't be more thrilled. Loved having our own private Mercedes and having the two days based on what we wanted to see and do.

We spent two days with the wonderful people of the Great Private Tours during our stay here. Colesy took us on the Great Ocean Road Tour and made sure we saw the beauty of nature even looking out for wild koalas during the drive. He recommended a great place for fish and chips and endeared himself to our kids. Our youngest was especially taken in by him that by the end of the tour, she was hanging on to him like a koala.
Steve joined Colesy to take us for our first family snow experience and made sure we got the right gear on to keep us as warm amd dry as could be in the snow. The two gentlemen even engaged in snow play with our family and we could not have asked for better guides. Thank you for taking such good care of us and giving us such fond memories of our first time in Melbourne with their warmth and friendly demeanour.

From the moment Steve turned up to collect us in his magnificent Mercedes coach, we knew that it was going to be great day. We couldn't fault him on a single thing. He organised the route that we followed into the Yarra Valley visiting four wineries, the private tastings at each one and the superb lunch that we enjoyed at Tarra Warra. It was just wonderful that we were able to relax and enjoy the company of our family and visitors from the UK, while Steve took care of the rest. He was very knowledgeable about the wine growing region and about the wines that we tasted. We highly recommend choosing Steve and his Great Private Tours Company to plan your next trip in the comfort of his 14-seater coach. We will certainly be hiring his services again for our next trip!

The tour arrangements was amazing. Dear Steve, he is such a great person. My group of 33 pax was managed by him in a very short notice and it was really a successful trip. Thank you tons deat Steve and the team of Great Private tour.

We did 3 days with Steve and loved Melbourne. He went out of his way to ensure we had the best of the best in our too short time in this great city. He even arranged golf at Sandringhurst for our 16 year old!. We saw penguins on Philip Island up close and personal on a Ranger guided tour. We took scenic helicopter trip to 12 Apostles. Nothing was too much for Steve to do for us. Steve will show you the very best Melbourne has to offer.

Booked this tour with Steve in and out of our hotel pick-up in Melbourne (we were 13 people; don't know if they pick-up for a small group. It was a very scenic and great day. Even got a cricket lesson over lunch.

We had a great family holiday thanks to Steve and all his team members at Great Private tours.
We only had 5 days in Melbourne and I wanted to get the best of our stay and do as much with our adult kids.
One of my kids had also special needs ( he is autistic) and I explained that to Steve along with other family needs and they have catered for all our needs and gave us great suggestions to what tours would be a good choice for our family. So we chose multiple tours with them ( Melbourne city, great Ocean road, Mt Dandenong and Mornington peninsula).
It was the best decision I made for our family trip to Melbourne !
The communication is excellent and prompt
The tour guides were all professional, knowledgeable, respectful and understanding of our family needs.
We had funny man Errol who took us to do Melbourne city tour and we had young Matt for as tour guide on 2 different day tours (Mt Dandenong and Mornington Peninsula) and finally we had Neil who was filled with wisdom and knowledge for our great Ocean Road trip.
We would take Great Private tour again when we visit Melbourne in the future.

My wife & I had a great day touring the Yarra Valley with Steve yesterday. Based on Steve’s knowledge & our tastes he suggested some lesser known boutique vineyards & didn’t disappoint.
We tried some amazing wines had a fabulous lunch & the whole day was seamless & totally relaxed.
Steve was very knowledgeable, intuitive & great company.

Our trip to Mt. Buller was a memorable one! Steve is very helpful and amazing!
He got us a last minute trip to the snowy mountain with 4 other guest, I was a bit worried about the trip as it will be a few hours, I'm not the best sitting down for a good while as I get restless but the Van is very comfy and the driving is great! Steve will talk about a few trivia a long the way. He assisted us and gave us hint/info needed while we were there! he made sure we got everything we need and that we are ok before we do our own thing. It was a looooong day but sure is worth it! So if your like me as a traveller & don't want to feel like just any other tourist. If you want to feel & experience your money's worth, hit up Steve! you won't regret it :) Can't wait for the next one!
