Two friends, my husband and I did a private wine tour to the Yarra Vally which was fabulous. Steve organised everything, even squeezing in an extra last minute tasting. His communication was great and he listened to and arranged an itinerary which was perfect.

I booked a Mornington Peninsula winery tour for my birthday, we were impressed by our guide, Steve's knowledge throughout the whole tour of ~5 wineries. When booking, the whole process was very accommodating to our personal preferences and we were taken to beautiful wineries and learned a lot throughout the day. Steve's services were beyond amazing and I highly recommend booking your tour with him. I will be definitely booking another tour to experience different wineries and sceneries. 100% happy.

We did a customised 4-day tour in Tasmania with Steve and we absolutely loved it. From the very beginning, Steve and his team have been very responsive with our requests/ questions. Given Tasmania is huge and there’s so much to see, they were able to quickly provide an itinerary that fit our criteria (basically gourmet and nature). We already got excited before the trip!
During the trip, Steve has been friendly, punctual and professional. There was a day where the weather wasn’t as nice as expected and we decided to change our outdoor activity and Steve could quickly come up with some interesting alternatives. He also handled our ad hoc requests extremely well and we were very impressed. Tasmania is a great place and having a great tour guide makes the trip even more memorable.

From the moment Steve turned up to collect us in his magnificent Mercedes coach, we knew that it was going to be great day. We couldn't fault him on a single thing. He organised the route that we followed into the Yarra Valley visiting four wineries, the private tastings at each one and the superb lunch that we enjoyed at Tarra Warra. It was just wonderful that we were able to relax and enjoy the company of our family and visitors from the UK, while Steve took care of the rest. He was very knowledgeable about the wine growing region and about the wines that we tasted. We highly recommend choosing Steve and his Great Private Tours Company to plan your next trip in the comfort of his 14-seater coach. We will certainly be hiring his services again for our next trip!

We had a great family holiday thanks to Steve and all his team members at Great Private tours.
We only had 5 days in Melbourne and I wanted to get the best of our stay and do as much with our adult kids.
One of my kids had also special needs ( he is autistic) and I explained that to Steve along with other family needs and they have catered for all our needs and gave us great suggestions to what tours would be a good choice for our family. So we chose multiple tours with them ( Melbourne city, great Ocean road, Mt Dandenong and Mornington peninsula).
It was the best decision I made for our family trip to Melbourne !
The communication is excellent and prompt
The tour guides were all professional, knowledgeable, respectful and understanding of our family needs.
We had funny man Errol who took us to do Melbourne city tour and we had young Matt for as tour guide on 2 different day tours (Mt Dandenong and Mornington Peninsula) and finally we had Neil who was filled with wisdom and knowledge for our great Ocean Road trip.
We would take Great Private tour again when we visit Melbourne in the future.

My wife & I had a great day touring the Yarra Valley with Steve yesterday. Based on Steve’s knowledge & our tastes he suggested some lesser known boutique vineyards & didn’t disappoint.
We tried some amazing wines had a fabulous lunch & the whole day was seamless & totally relaxed.
Steve was very knowledgeable, intuitive & great company.

We have recently completed tours with Steve of Great Private Tours in Southern Tasmania. The tours were fascinating and something not to be missed. Steve was extremely attentive to our comfort and customised our itineraries according to our needs. As my husband has mobility issues, Steve arranged a walking frame to help him move around. It was a touching gesture indeed.
Steve is highly knowledgeable, very interested in all aspects of the tours, and he loves what he does. We have used many private tours in Europe, which we enjoyed very much, but this one was exceptional.
We highly recommend the Great Private Tours as it provides a memorable experience.

Steve and his vehicle were awesome! Even after nearly
Missing out on our snow day due to the weather - Steve stuck by and have us many other options but in the end we were able to go ahead with our day as planned!
His vehicle is so comfortable, the seats, AC and also provided us wifi and USB for charging.
It was perfect with 3 kids and grandparents.
Thanks Steve we will be back!

We (family of 5 with teenagers) had an excellent time with Steve on our private tour of the Great Ocean Road. He was very knowledgeable about the areas we visited and allowed enough time for us to explore where possible. Seeing koalas in the wild at Kennett River was pretty special as was our visit to Loch Ard Gorge. Scones at the Lighthouse Tea Rooms in Aireys Inlet hit the spot for morning tea. Steve made sure we got family photos at all the right places. The 12 hours passed very quickly and were broken up by interesting stops along the way and by Steve's easy conversation. The van was comfortable, and we appreciated the supply of bottled water. I would highly recommend a private tour with Great Private Tours. We would certainly consider booking with them again.
