My family and I spent four days touring Melbourne with Mark. He and his team were accommodating and flexible for our large group. Mark was engaging and knowledgeable about each tour. We went on a city day tour. We went to the Great Ocean Road and saw the 12 apostle rocks. The next day, we went to the moonlit sanctuary for the Koala exhibit, where we saw kangaroos, wallabies, dingos, and more, followed by an evening and Philips Island. Mark was extremely well organized and planned ahead to ensure we wouldn't miss the chance to see the Koalas or penguins up close. On our final day, we went to the Yarra Talley for wine tasting, which was lovely.
We highly recommend booking tours with Mark!

We had a great tour of Melbourne with Mark. He is a really friendly guy and definitely cut for showing people around the wonderful city.

A true local - Mark took us through some of the historical alleyways and side streets that we otherwise would not have found on our own.

Of course we also ran by some local beaches and parks for the gram snaps! Make sure to stop by Brighton Beach for the iconic Bathing Boxes!

Thanks Mark!

We had a private tour with Simon and really enjoyed our day, ultimately changing course mid day to suit our needs. Simon was great at listening to what we wanted and we booked the tour to be open in itinerary as we first wanted to see what we enjoyed in other parts of Australia first. Mark booked it with a base fee and we would pay entrance fees to whatever we chose along the way, the perfect solution to our indecision before arrival! Our ship was docked in Geelong.

We started in Brighten Beach (an hour or so drive from Geelong) and saw the beautiful boxes and then went on to Melbourne (20 minute drive) and enjoyed a bit of the city. The highlight was definitely the market. I could have spent much of the day here if we had time! We did hit the street graffiti streets and they were a disappointment, which of course was not our guide’s fault, but the fault of the taggers who have stopped allowing the beautiful street art to stay for a bit (I would skip this stop).

Our desire to see kangaroos was high so first we hit a park where they were known to be and saw some and even a Joey. Still wanting more, we headed to the Anglesea Golf course (around an hour, mostly towards the port), where around 200 wild Kangaroos roam as people play golf. We got there as the tours had stopped at 4pm, but the nice lady allowed us to get one anyway. For $20, we got on a golf cart and off we went to see Roos, many with their Joeys in toe. It was great fun and the highlight of our day! So glad we did this stop, but be sure to make a reservation or arrive within their tour times to ensure to avoid disappointment!

I was going to the Australian Open in Jan 2024 and wanted to take advantage of being in Melbourne and see some of the south coast scenery. I called a few tour companies, but I was late in planning the trip and all of them were booked for my available dates. I called Mark and he was booked as well, but he set me up with Peter who was a former tour guide that was now working part time. Mark handled all the details and everything went as planned. We did the trip in the reverse order of all the tour busses so we avoided all the crowds and had great day. Peter was great and we got to see the 12 (7 actually) apostles and all the beautiful cliffs and beaches along the south coast as well as some close encounters with koalas and kangaroos in the "wild". It was a great day and a highlight of the trip. Thanks to Mark for setting it all up and Peter for all his local knowledge on the tour and his recommendations for Melbourne places to see.

It was our first visit to Melbourne. Mark was an excellent guide. He explained to us a lot of the Australian history, the history of the city and took us to many landmarks in Melbourne. We drove around for most of the day but we also went for a ride on the tram and got to walk in a few beautiful arcades. Had a great time!

My wife and I had a lovely day with Mark. Our tour started by touring some of Melbourne’s historic neighborhoods. One stop included stopping to see the beautiful beach huts on Brighton Beach. Mark being a native of Melbourne, gives a wonderful perspective of the history of Melbourne. We went to Moonlit Sanctuary to see the the Koalas, kangaroos, wallabies, wombats etc….. off to several beach scenic overlooks on our way to Phillips Island to see the Penguins!! Prior to the evening penguin arrival Mark recommended a nice Italian restaurant. The night with the penguins should be included on everyone’s bucket list. To see thousands of adorable little blue penguins arrive on quest at sundown and march past you to their burrows is a reminder on how wonderful nature is!!! Everyone of all ages were in awe of these little off balanced adorable penguins!! Final thoughts, Mark is the best!!! His energy and enthusiasm is off the charts! He opens doors, he gets ahead to secure your passes through entry gates. He knows where the best locations are for photo opportunities. He also takes photos of you if needed. Bottom line, we would use Mark’s services again in a heartbeat!! He is the best!!! Mark F. From Florida
