I was looking for tour options in and around Melbourne when I stumbled upon online. They were one of the very few tour operators running tours due to covid restrictions. As a female wanting to visit places of interest on my own, I always preferred small groups. There were 6 of us on the day and James himself was taking us around. He picked us up on time and offered freshly brewed coffee and fruit. He even had keep cups to stick to their promise of being zero waste. The van was very comfortable with ample space for all of us. James was very friendly and accommodating of us and made genuine conversation with all of us to know who we are, where we are from etc to make us feel at ease. The hikes were great and we loved hearing how "Bushrangers Bay" got its name. The cafe we had lunch at (Merchant & Maker) was a great pick. All of us thoroughly enjoyed our lunch and had very satisfied bellies before heading to Mornington bath house. We did not need to hire towels since they were provided for us by H&S but we did hire lockers to keep our belongings. The time at the bath house (a little over 2.5 hours) was sufficient for us to experience a few different pools, hammam, steam and sauna and pressure showers.
Since there were restrictions around covid, a maximum num of people were allowed in one bath at any given time but if I am honest I actually preferred it that way rather than having so many people around. It was a perfect way to end a tour and I didnt find anything that we could have done better. I will highly recommend Hike and Seek and as I told James, I will definitely be joining another tour soon. Thank you for giving us great memories James. I will be back! :)

i completed 2 trips with hike and seek the first to mornington peninsula and the second to beauchamp falls and the twelve apostles.the day prior to my trip i was sick and i had issues with the air pollution due to the bushfire haze and i was going to cancel my trip to the grampians, but i was able to change to the 12 apostles. this was done easily and with no hassle. I was lucky enough to have the same driver on both occasions James "the employee" he interacted with everybody in the group, answering all our questions and was patient with the slower members of our group.(namely me!) i would absolutley reccommend this experience. great way to step out of the big city and see a bit more of Australian nature

Fantastic day! Shane, our guide, was excellent. He adjusted our itinerary and kept the day's activities flexible due to changing weather conditions. Beautiful scenery. The day wasn't too rushed - we got to see all the sights - Squeaky Beach, Big Drift, bush walking - saw lots of wildlife. Very well organised. We had small group of 5 who were all fantastic. Vehicle was comfortable, they provide healthy snacks, water and tea / coffee for the journey. Stops along the way too. I'm looking forward to going on another trip with Hike & Seek soon!

I booked a day trip to the Grampians with Hike & Seek and absolutely loved it. I especially enjoyed the intimate setting - it was only six of us including our fun and easy-going guide Shane, who did a great job keeping us entertained along the way. With perfect views , a great hike and kangaroos it was a delightful day. Would definitely recommend to anyone wanting to explore a bit of Australian nature and wildlife.

James has worked very hard to create a truely spectacular experience for his guests. Phil, Ryan and James are very knowledgeable on the landscape, flora and fauna of the National Parks around Melbourne. They are funny, friendly, kind and unfailingly respectful young men. As a consumer, you will be missing out if you choose to not book with them.
Be prepared for moderate physical exercise, fascinating travelers and breathtaking views of the countryside of Melbourne. I hope you will book with Hike and Seek - I know you will not regret it. Thank you for providing an unforgettable experience and for making my stay in Melbourne as fabulous as it has been. I will book with you again in the future!

I had toured with my family the Great Ocean Road and the 12 Apostles twice many years ago and its awesomeness has always impacted me and still does. So wild, so impressive, so unique. Adding to that, Hide & Seek fulfilled everything promised: a walk along the beach, a walk surrounded by a variety of giant Eucalyptus and ferns, waterfalls, a walk in a Redwood forest, sighting of koalas and kangaroos, led by the friendly and knowledgeable tour guide(and excellent driver) Shane, who managed to keep all of us well informed. Sometimes though, he spoke a tad too fast and used a few very Aussie words that left some of the other overseas travellers wondering... I would also have liked a bit more of hiking but understand the time constraints to complete the itinerary. The van was very comfortable and the small group arrangement was ideal to engage everyone in conversation. all in all a very enjoyable outing, which I would strongly recommend to all travellers.

The guide Jeremy was very friendly and knowledgeable, introducing us to the different wildlife found on the island. The 7km walk brought us through several habitats and had great view all the way. We manage to get up close with the koalas at the reserve, that was very exciting. The overall experience was great, well organised and packed with things to see, would definitely recommend it for wildlife lovers !

It was a real treat to spend the day doing the hike and Peninsula Hot Springs. Michael was a terrific guide, very attentive, knowledgeable and humorous. HIghly recommend this tour for a fun and relaxing day out and would be keen to do another of the Hike and Seek tours.

We had an enjoyable Great Ocean Road tour with Hike and Seek. Shane, our guide and driver was fun, informative and worked hard to provide the best guest experience. The ocean views along the road, the stop in the rainforest and at the 12 apostles beach were all timed so as we’d have fewer crowds. We had a good lunch at The Perch restaurant. Along the way, Shane was able to find a Koala and baby in a tree for us to view and found some kangaroos towards the end of the trip.

Had Shane be our guide on the Great Ocean Road experience, it was a half day tour, went from 7AM to about 8PM at night because we spent a fair bit of time looking for Kangaroos and Koalas! We were determined to catch sight of them in the wilderness (so different from the zoo).
Shane was knowledgeable, a great photographer (seriously, he is SO GOOD AT THE INSTAGRAMMABLE SHOTS) and so fun! He prepared delicious coffee, fresh fruits and a whole bunch of interesting trivia for the trip across the Great Ocean Road. He was patient with me (as I was a slow climber during the hike to the waterfall) and he was constantly offering to help get pictures, share insights and stories.
I can't wait to come back to Melbourne and try the other routes with the Hike and Seek team.
You won't regret trying their tours, it's truly like no other. (I am not paid to say this, I just really can't stop raving about it)

What is the address? The photos seem to show very different areas far apart from each other... is this Brighton? Or Grampians? Or is it near st Kilda?

Do you offer any tours on Wednesdays? We (party of 4) are going to be in Melbourne on Tuesday, January 22 and Wednesday, January 23 and were hoping we could do the Wilson's Prom tour before we leave.
