Stunning morning spent floating over Melbourne. Very good communication about weather and whether the flight was going ahead. I loved helping to get the balloon filled and packing up too. I was a bit nervous but the team were super professional and Clement, our pilot, was very focused and helped us all relax. The flight itself was magical - so peaceful and the views were wow. Very gentle landing. Highly recommend Global Ballooning!

What a flight! Such an exciting experience with the most incredible views. Thanks to Eddie, our pilot, for making it a fun morning and for landing us with such precision! And thank you to Raine and Stony for their expertise and for chasing our balloon across the city to drive us back to breakfast!!

Was a wonderful experience and finally got it crossed of our bucket list.
Staff were efficient and professional making the whole experience amazing.
The only thing that would have made our ballooning adventure perfect would have been a clear sky.

A gorgeous foggy morning. We absolutely loved our first hot air balloon experience over the Yarra Valley. It was so pretty and we had full confidence in our pilot. Pillar had the softest landing. Highly recommend Global Ballooning, they are so obviously a well oiled machine. I am scared of heights and was really nervous but relaxed into the flight and would go again.

The flight was amazing, so serene and peaceful. I have had hot air ballooning on my bucket list forever and I am so glad I've finally done it. The staff were helpful, friendly and professional. Steve made the flight very enjoyable and fun. Would do it again in a heartbeat.

Our Yarra Valley Balloon adventure was awesome. A misty sunrise followed by clear skies and a smattering of clouds made for a perfect experience. The Team at Global Ballooning were extremely professional and fun to guide us on our tour. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend them if you are considering some ballooning.

Hi! I am gong to book the "Yarra Valley Balloon Flight at Sunrise-Flight, Transfers & Breakfast" . I'd like to know if you can pick us up at my hotel (YTI Garden Hotel, 378 Little Bourke St.) on 26th.Dec.2022.

If our selection is without breakfast, do they send us back to the hotel first or wait for the rest to finish the. Go back together.

For our Melbourne flight we drop back at our meeting location and you can make your own way back to your hotel.
For our Yarra Valley flight, if you want city transfers to Yarra Valley and back then you have to include the champagne breakfast.

Yes, you can bring your camera or phone to take photos. Small shoulder bags are accepted on the flight but large bags will be kept in our ground vehicles during the flight for safety reasons.

Hello Andreza M,
They are both popular - it is more a personal reason as to why you would want to fly over one more than the other. If you prefer city/suburb views, then go with the city flight OR if you want to see the countryside, then book the Yarra Valley.

We would like to ask if there's any age restriction to ride on the hot air balloon, as we are travelling with our 8 year old child.
Also, kindly advise if you will provide pick up and drop off at our hote, which is Yarra Valley Lodge. We have booked this hotel from 13/3 till 15/3.

Yes, we take children from age 7 and up so your 8 year old will be fine.
We don't do transfers from Yarra Valley Lodge - do you have a car? It is about a 25 minute drive to Rochford Wines (our meeting place).
