Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Absolutely love this venue. Students love the interactive art and I love how the staff take their time to explain to international students the concept of this venue. You can get a pass out which is handy given there are no toilets in the building this in in

Thanks for taking the time to leave us such an amazing review. So great to hear that your group of students had fun interacting with the new fantasy theme. Our staff work hard to provide visitors with handy tips and the best experience. Thank you for visiting and we hope to see you again soon.

This is really an experience to share with a group of friends. I went solo which was ok and the staff joined in to make it more interesting; so you can go along and they will assist you to take photos; but there really would be a lot of fun to be had with at least one other person or a group. Just spend time walking around and checking out the artwork and then incorporating yourself and merging into the works. Have fun

Rip off. I spent $50 taking my 10 yo son and I to this place. We were done in 15 mins. Such a tourist rip off in the soulless docklands area. We went to the Melbourne zoo the day before - $40 (kids are free on the weekend) and we spent 3 hours there. The $ are just not worth it.

I recently visited Artvo in Melbourne and had an amazing experience! The interactive art installations were truly unique and allowed me to become part of the artwork. The staff were friendly and helpful, and there were plenty of photo opportunities throughout the exhibit. Overall, I highly recommend Artvo as a fun and interactive activity for all ages. A solid 4-star experience!

The art is quite real and I have a great time with my family. I think you should come with at leat 4-5 people to take a better picture. Not recommend to come alone as the picture may look a bit weirdif taking alone.

The price is way to high for the average 3D experience. It is just paintings on the wall that you take photos of with a camera for a slight 3D experience. It feels a bit like a sideshow experience at a ride at a rural agricultural show in the 1980s!

art Vo is so much fun to indulge in some great photos. Staff came and helped us with taking photos and hints. It was busy for a non school holiday friday. A bit hard to find at the top of the mall, but well worth the trouble.

You really need to take your time before taking photos. Look at the suggestions, take your time and pay attention to detail.Once you’ve taken the photo, check it, so you can retake if necessary. Follow these steps and you will end up with amazing photos. The wine glass is awesome!

Sorry I tried to post it here but guidelines prevent it.
I was told when we were there in July that it would be closing in August for a complete revamp over a couple of months. Best to check if open before heading there!

Will a weekday early afternoon a better time to take photos in ArtVo than school holidays and weekends due to people traffic?
Written 28 March 2019
Well it depends on what type of person you are, a week day would be better for you if you prefer to take a calm series of photos without accedental photobombers but if you feel like your personality pops more around other People then I would advise going on a weekend. One note though the last scene at artvo is for a panda in a tree but many young children are tiered by the end and we found that we couldn't take a photo there because all the children were sitting on the fake bamboo

Is there anything like this in the United States? I live in San Diego and don't know when I'll have a chance to visit.
Written 16 March 2019
Sorry, I don't think there is. I've checked on-line and the only places I can find a Trick 3D Art Gallery are Melbourne in Australia, Den Pasar in Bali, Indonesia and Rotorua, New Zealand. You'll have to take a holiday!
