More
The park is a great destination for walking, sightseeing, camping, rock climbing, scenic drives and spending time in nature. Native animals abound, so keep an eye out for kangaroos and emus, especially while driving. The Grampians are rich in Aboriginal culture and provide an insight into the Jardwadjali and Djab Wurrung people who have walked and lived in these ranges they have called Gariwerd for thousands of years. For further Park information, walking brochures and detailed maps call into Brambuk - The National Park and Cultural Centre, 2.5km south of Halls Gap. The Grampians National Park is famous for its variety of bushwalking experiences; from a leisurely stroll to a more challenging overnight hike, there is something to suit every level of walker. Discover grand views from rocky mountain peaks, marvel at impressive waterfalls, encounter wildlife in forest environments and learn about fascinating Aboriginal and European heritage. Aside from bushwalking, other popular activities include four wheel driving, camping and picnics.

View is perfect, however now there are barricades so if you want a fabulous view, you can climb over the fence to the balcony, at your own risk.

Beautiful bush walks, lookouts, incredible waterfalls and rock formations, toilets, good roads and lots of parking. Well worth to go in spring, autumn and winter! It would be incredibly hot during summer. Lots of trails for hikers too! 10/10 would recommend to everyone!

Started trekking from Wonderland Carpark. Was Easter weekend so park was packed. Carpark was almost full so be early if you are there. 1hr hike one way. Best to have trekking shoes but we did it with converse sneakers and it was fine. Good workout

When you park down at Halls Gap you'll be able to see Wallabies and Kangaroos. Whatever you do DO NOT feed them. There is a couple of kilometer walk where you can see the epic view of the Grampians. It's well worth a look. Do...More

Accom: we stay at Halls Gap Valley Lodges as they have comfortable two bedroom lodges with spa bath. (Great after hiking) The caravan park in town is a great location. You can walk to the shops or hikes.
