Love this park as we did all parks in and around Hobart, but his one has history with the old cemetary stones around it, great place for a picnic or just sit and soak up the atmosphere.

This simple park in spring is stunningly more beautiful than most mainland parks. Magnificent trees, heritage monuments and stunning blooms makes you want to lay back on the grass and while away the afternoon. Right next to the hustle and bustle of Salamanca Markets.

Well worth a walk through and around - we found the graves and memorial wall by accident and it was fascinating to read some of the history of old Hobart
