Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

This is a great place for a stroll. There are places to eat and drink if that is your thing, but otherwise just enjoy walking by the water and watching the boats. Limited parking (for a fee).

Another must-see for any visitor to Hobart is Constitution Dock. A visitor does not have to buy anything, but just to walk around the area is enough. It is a good idea to wander around during the day, and during the evening after dark. The lights around the docks are really good.

A great place for find reasonably priced food at one of the floating food boats. Besides Flippers, the seafood place closest to the street, and Van Diemens Land Creamery, an ice cream place, we enjoyed Belly Talk which offered seafood, burgers and chicken options. Their soft shelled crab burger, kim chee burger and fried chicken were fabulous.
There are seating in front of each food boat.

On a sunny day this is a great place to walk around. Some of the fish outlets are very popular. Plenty of seating. Convenient to everything. I really enjoyed it.

Wonderful place to walk and around and just see the sights, whether they be boats or old buildings. Also an amazing place to grab quick, cheap(ish) sea food or ice creams (or both, obvs).
We loved it.

The sailing aboard Windewarde bound in the Wooden Boat regatta in Hobart was of my most treasured experiences. Sailing up the Derwent with hundreds of wooden ships tall and otherwise was incredibly thrilling. My spirits soared as high as the sails. No better place to experience this. The crew on the Windewarde bound made the experience all that and some. You must must must do this believe me. Your heart will burst.

You won't have to walk far probably a 5 minute walk and flat and easy walking. The bus is great! You can do a short trip or a long trip as it is hop on hop off. I would have breakfast at the little cafe called Harbour Lights Cafe just near where the bus goes from. The breakfast are really good .Catch the bus to the Cascade Brewery, do a tour and have lunch there they do a great pizza and you can taste the beers and ciders. Then catch the bus back down. Or just stay on the bus and do a round trip a great way to see Hobart! The Botanic Gardens are worth a visit too.!
