A great experience, thanks Rob. Having worked in aviation and as a navy air controller I thoroughly enjoyed being up front in a realistic simulator. I would absolutely recommend this to anyone wanting flight simulator experience or just curious about what it takes to fly a 737.

SIM737 is a wonderful flight simulator experience, right in the centre of Hobart, Tasmania. I was very lucky to have been given the experience as a gift for my birthday.

The professionalism of the staff (Rob in this case) is first class. You are made welcome and given a full briefing about the simulator and what to expect.
However, as you sit into the left hand seat in flightdeck you start to feel that you're in a real aircraft. This is because the attention to detail is superb. This looks and feels like the real thing. Flight controls, alarms, engine sounds are all here. Plus, there's the excellent visuals out of the window.
As you're in the captain's seat you'll be doing the flying with Rob only assisting as necessary. We took off from Hobart and did a circuit over the city before landing again over Seven Mile Beach.
Then we magically travelled to the runway at Queenstown, New Zealand (my partner's excellent choice), for our flight over the southern alps to Dunedin. What an amazing take off it is out of Queenstown.
I managed a reasonable landing at Dunedin with Rob's excellent tuition. You get sent the video of your experience which makes a really nice way to remember your time flying the simulator.
I highly recommend SIM737 to you. It's brilliant.

I recently purchased this experience as a gift for a novice, aviation enthusiast. The experience was thoroughly enjoyed. The tuition was first rate. The simulator was realistic and super impressive. I can emphatically recommend this experience.

As a flight simulation addict, I have flown in a number of sims and this one is by far the best one I have experienced. The TV wide-screen graphics work better than projection in my view, creating a better graphic experience. The whole sim is fully operational, unlike some others that just have non functional eye candy. Robert is very welcoming and an enthusiastic flight simmer himself. Highly recommended.

It was great to meet you and that was some nice flying. It always flatters me when people visiting from the mainland go out of there way to drop in to check out what we have built here.

My 13 year old son is a flying enthusiast. He loves the Simulator here. It is always easy to organise a session. The customer experience is clearly at the forefront of this business.

For anyone interested in aviation, this facility will provide you with a Boeing 737 flight deck experience. What is it like to sit in a pilot's seat? What happens up front.
Under guidance you can be taken through a flight from takeoff to landing. You look out the windows and the scenery changes right up to the point of taxying to the terminal building.
I am a rusty old private pilot and this has been an unrealised dream. I loved every minute and learnt so much about flying a heavy aircraft. Some of simulation experiences can be done on a home computer but it is a big step to sitting in a cockpit and using the real switches and controls.
I would recommend this experience to anyone that likes flying. Under instruction you don't need to have flown before.

Originally bought a gift voucher as part of my sons 16th Birthday present. Rob was great to deal with and on the day provided my son with a very professional and enjoyable simulator experience . Afterwards my son said it was a great experience and would definitely like to do it again. He was still smiling from the experience as we walk around the city afterwards. Thank you Rob
