Although the day was windy with occasional showers, we enjoyed walking along the waterfront boardwalk. Some brave souls were swimming off the beach - refreshingly chilly! Toilets available. Playground for families. Seating to enjoy the view.

We stayed for two nights. The room was large and comfortable , 2 windows, fireplace and bathroom beautifully decorated in the period as is the whole manor. I loved the colours used throughout. There is a pleasant dining room overlooking the lovely well kept gardens continental style breakfast provided with a kitchen for quests to cook their breakfast if required. For me this gave a relaxed, friendly feel and gives a chance to meet other guests and share experiences and to learn about the history of the house from the very helpful hostess. There is also a comfortable sitting room with port and chocolates, something I have not seen in a while and very relaxing after our evening meal. Parking is in the grounds so convenient. We very much enjoyed our stay and highly recommend.
