Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Take some time to explore this great university. UTAS offers fabulous courses. History and education what more could you ask for.

Drove thru the campus and found the buildings are pretty cool, especially the iconic one with university name on it.

I went for a walk at the University of Tasmania. The campus was at the one side, the dormitories could be reached through a bridge that led to the other side of the highway.

I was amazed how green the grass was. There were many different buildings according to what students wanted to learn.

However, there were two fields where students played cricket here. I had never seen cricket before. It was interesting.

We enjoyed our trek and will remember how to play cricket.

Worthwhile for a hike!

The library is a good place to access computers and study. I like the outdoor area and the cafe. This is not a real tourist attraction, but worth a walk around if you are in the area.

Recently I visited the University for a specific purpose in a designated building and the experience was reasonably typical of most university visits. But what I loved was walking around the buildings which are often flanked by stately eucalypt and other healthy native trees. The time was around midday and so the sun warmed the natural oils of the trees and the wonderful 'perfume' floated strongly in the air. This felt like a very rich experience. Only 15 minutes or less by bus from the Hobart city centre. Worth the visit for the environment - but there are good cafes as well where you can enjoy a meal or coffee etc. For tourists it is a gentle close walk to Wrest Point Casino from the University

A conglomerate of buildings on both sides of the street reflecting mostly sixties architecture it is rather unspectacular and unless a specific visit is required not worth the effort for the tourist.

The university is closed on weekends and many places are locked. Human crowd is low. We went to the library to look around. Later did we find out that in order to enter the school library, we need to have an access card to enter, but just nice someone was exiting and the door opened, so we entered without knowing. There are several places to rest, where power plugs are available for you to charge your laptops or phones. Definitely good for studying as it is rather quiet.

Very beautiful campus. Most of the buildings look fresh and up-to-date. The campus is along the harbour so there are some great views.

As a student, i enjoy my classes. More funding is needed and student representatives/TUU need to play a more comforting role in the studying assistance
