Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

So much to do in such a beautiful city. Battery Point an especially beautiful part to be based in.
Needed a car due to hills, unless very fit - parking is fairly easy to find.
Drive up to Mt Wellington on a clear day; Salamanca area great to explore with great eateries etc, including Saturday markets; Constitution Dock, Cascade Brewery and Mawson Hut museum were all highlights. Botanical Gardens so worth a visit.
Wineglass Bay cruise on the East Coast, with lunch, was also great - approx 3hrs drive to meet cruise from Hobart accom. A relaxing and beautiful week.

When ever we visit a new city we love to get out and about, being big walkers, this is a part of the city not to be missed.

Visited for cafes, restaurant, and the cinema. (Also pharmacy).
Variety as far as cuisines, as well as the quality of the places, along the Elizabeth st. strip.
Cinema is good, and it has a good cafe. And don’t miss the bookshop next door - allow an extra half hour to browse through here.

Head Northwards from the Elizabeth Street Mall and you will arrive in North Hobart, we happened to be in the area when first arrived in March and again when we stayed at the Argyle in Lewis Street. Busy area with the many cafes and restaurants featuring the cuisines from a variety of countries. There are some lovely heritage buildings with the Post Office Build a real architectural treasure. If you are interested in trivia, the first Hungry Jacks and Nando's outlets in Tasmania were established in this suburb.

Bite me in Elizabeth Street North Hobart, just South of Burnett Street is a fabulous new addition to dining options.
Sharm and her Chef husband are focused, passionate and engaging.
Simply just like being in Malaysia as attested by so many diners who obviously come from that part of the World.
Inexpensive and a must go to.

Just like every other place in Hobart - busy, pollution and traffic. Everything is expensive and the same as any other place in Tasmania. I highly recommend heading to Central Tasmania or the West Coast for a unique experience.

Be sure to venture up little lane ways to find hidden gems. A huge variety of food choices. Wonderful homes and gardens to wonder by and be in awe.

What was Crust is a new exciting Middle Eastern Bakery, with a mix of vegetarians and meat; baked to order and scrumptious. A must visit in the foodie strip.

One of my favourite parts of town, amazing selection of food for pretty much all budgets and palates. Bars and a great wee cinema too.
