Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Went on the Shuttle Bus up to the top of Mount Wellington with Paul our driver and guide. He was very informative and I felt very safe travelling up some very scary roads. The view from the top well worth the ride.

Great value! Enjoyed the tour guides (especially Tony and his jokes). Paul and Tony were really friendly and helpful. We managed to see all the main attractions which we wanted to see. Loved the trip to Mount Wellington with Tony. Both drivers gave us help and advice. Definitely recommend!

Pre-purchased tickets for myself and my Wife before leaving Sydney which was straightforward. Arrived in Hobart off a Princess cruise and the Red Decker pick up point was an easy 10-minute walk from the ship with directions from friendly Red Decker staff at Constitution Dock. The bus was clean, the driver and staff were very friendly. The trip around Hobart was a perfect introduction to the City and I would recommend it to any visitor at any time.

Interesting place, beautiful homes and gardens. Sick of hearing the lame commentary about cruisers spending kids inheritance. It was repeated quite often and wasn't funny once. Cruisers are spending the money they earned and are free to do so as they please. Remove the lame jokes and fill it with more details about what you can do before getting to next stops.

Purchased tickets on line, went off Cruise ship and had easy directions to the pick up point. Very informative history of the area, we especially enjoyed the Botanical Gardens.

Went on the Richmond tour. JASON was the excellent driver for the trip, full g information, history and anecdotes. Richmond was so enjoyable with so much to see and do, as was the Puddleduck winery. A different way to spend the day and well worth it.

At $40 pp it is quite expensive and definitely for two of us. Started on first bus of the day and got off Battery Point then, after an hour, again at Cascade Brewery. After the brewery tour then walk down to Women's Factory we had missed final bus. So, $40 (each) bus ride up to the brewery. I think staying on the bus for the whole ride then deciding where to get off second time around might be closer to value-for-money. Certainly, nice coach, pleasant driver, informative narration. Walk back from the Factory was quite pleasant though and not difficult….in reasonable weather.
