Hobart Bike Hire has a selection of well maintained late model bicycles and electric bicycles available from our Brooke Street Depot. We are situated next door to the Quest Hotel on the Waterfront. We are around 300m from the Hobart Cruise Ship Terminal, and very close to the Salamanca tourist hot spot.

    Quality and great trails
    Rent here!!! The owner, Ian, is amazing. Quality bikes. His e scooter prices are better than any curb side street rental. Trails were amazing. We went over Tasman bridge then took ferry back. Beautiful bike trails then headed to cascade brewery Must do!!

    Fantastic way to see Hobart
    We hired electric bikes for a day of sightseeing. Hobart Bike Hire provided excellent service, is very affordable, and we appreciated the maps and suggestions for bike routes and places to see and stop at. Highly recommend!

    Excellent bike ride
    Had a great day cycling in Hobart. There’s lots of bike trails, so you’re off the busy roads. The owner was very accommodating and even came in on his day off to rent us bikes. The bikes were very comfortable and fun to ride, and not expensive to rent. Absolutely recommend!

Ian you are an amazing person. You showed us mature ladies how to ride a bike again. Nothing was too difficult. Your attention to detail was much appreciated. Although a little scary it gave us a wonderful outdoor experience.

I highly recommend you and your business to anyone who wants to get around Hobart.

Excellent bike ride

Had a great day cycling in Hobart. There’s lots of bike trails, so you’re off the busy roads. The owner was very accommodating and even came in on his day off to rent us bikes. The bikes were very comfortable and fun to ride, and not expensive to rent. Absolutely recommend!

Blaze your own trail

Great way to explore the city, ebike made it easy. Rode out to MONA, Botanic Gardens and then to Cascade Brewery along a lovely leafy trail. Good bike, good price, good service.

E-Bikes Hobart to Mona

Knowledgeable advice on the best bike paths and places to stop. Very friendly and detailed service. Hired 2 e-bikes, rode from Hobart to Mona then back over the Tasman Bridge (yikes….scary) to Bellerive catching the ferry back to Hobart. 35km round trip but e-bikes took all the yucky bits out of the ride as long as you kept pedalling.

A fun way to see and experience beautiful Hobart on an ebike.

What a great way to get about and see beautiful Hobart. The bikes worked better than mine does at home. We got excellent maps of where to access the extensive network of cycleways. And Ian was the perfect host.
