Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

This was my fourth photography workshop with Coreena. I was ready for a new lens for my camera, so I asked for some advice prior to my trip over to Tassie. Coreena found the perfect lens for me and she was also able to collect it and have it for me when I arrived for our three day experience at the Tahune Airwalk Adventures.
The area provided many photographic opportunities and together with Coreena’s tuition and expertise, I got some fabulous shots. Not only did I get a tremendous amount of knowledge from Coreena, but seeing what and how others in the group approach their photography had an impact on me.

Great day out with Coreena, going to the Tasman Peninsular and had fun getting used to a new camera and learning how to get great shots. Then an evening with Roy in Hobart. Enjoyed getting car trails and sharp shots of the boats on the harbour. I learnt how to get creative shots, and had a great day with them.

Freycinet 4 day women-only photography escape
Coreena was well organised yet quite flexible. We had great accomodation and fabulous meals. The photography tuition was fantastic - my technical knowledge has come along so far in such a short time. I really appreciated being able to practice with different settings and with a borrowed tripod. Highly recommend this trip for new or more experienced DSLR photographers looking to up-skill or just enjoy having someone take you to all the best spots. Due to challenging weather, our itinerary had to keep being adjusted, meals swapped etc - all in a day's work for Coreena, nothing too much trouble. Great trip.

I spent two wonderful days with Coreena Vieth as my guide (and photographer) on day trips from Hobart. The first day we went to Maria Island and had a lovely wander to see birds and wombats. She knows so much history of the area and people and I learned so much. We made a stop in Richmond so that I could see Australia's oldest bridge still in use that was constructed by convicts, and other sites in the interesting town. We spent the evening at the Bonorong Wildlife Sanctuary where I was able to feed the nocturnal animals and learn about the great work of the sanctuary. The second day we spent time at Mt. Field National Park and saw the amazingly tall tree ferns and the even taller Eucalyptus Regnans, often called mountain ash or swamp gum.
Coreena is a wonderful, knowledgeable and entertaining guide and photographer as well as making fabulous picnic lunches!
I would recommend Coreena and her skills to anyone who wants to see and learn about beautiful Tasmania.

My wife and I recently enjoyed a half-day private workshop with Coreena. We both gained a huge amount of knowledge and confidence with our digital cameras, and got some great practical experience taking photos on Mt Wellington. Coreena kept it fun and relaxed while dealing with our very-different goals for the session. Highly recommended whether you are seeking a unique Tasmanian outdoor experience with a knowledgeable guide or expert photography tution.

We had a wonderful time. We have been to Tasmania multiple times and thought that something different would be in order. Our travel agent booked Coreena for tours of Maria and Bruny. Coreena is knowledgeable, funny, entertaining and prepares an amazing BBQ. We would definitely have Coreena guide us again.

I did a private night photography class with Roy in Hobart. I have some experience with photography and he was able to adjust to my skill level and provide me with the exact information suited to me. Roy was accommodating to my mobility issues getting around Hobart. Particularly useful was going through adjustments using aperture priority, a setting I had forgotten how to use. I was able to achieve clear and pretty photographs in low light conditions. Tips for composition were also highly appreciated. Would love to attend another class.

My second experience with Coreena from Shutterbugs Walkabouts was even better than the first. A two night getaway to Rathmore in Southern Tasmania. As it was a small group, photographic tuition was more one on one and I was able to learn so much more about my camera, how to set up each shot and also learn to use my new tripod. This would have to be the best purchase because taking photos with it makes such a difference.
The weekend was mostly about photography and composition of photos, but it was also about kicking back around a fire, toasting marshmallows and chatting about the day.

Thank you for taking the time to review your experience :-) It was an absolute pleasure to welcome you back again and I look forward to seeing you again another time in the future. I'm so thrilled that you enjoyed our personalised approach allowing you to learn so much in such a short time too. Keep up the great work with your photography - but most of all enjoy every moment that you are able to get out and about with your camera. Coreena

In November I spent 5 days on a womens only retreat to Flinders Island with Coreena from Shutterbug Walkabouts. I have spent many years with a great camera that I never really understood how to use. It was frustrating that my photographs never gave a good representation of what my eye would see. After 5 days with Coreena I am seeing a marked improvement in the end result and a better understanding of composition. I had never spent the time getting up early for sunrises and waiting for the sunsets and what a difference the light makes. To top it off I walked away from Flinders Island having fallen in love with the landscape and being amazed by the accomodation, the company and the food. You will not regret participating in this womens only photography experience or I am sure any of the other experiences Shutterbug Walkabouts offer.”

Thank you Michelle. I'm super pleased that you enjoyed your time with me on Flinders Island. It pays to get up early sometimes doesn't it ;-) I'm thrilled that you've ignited your passion for photography all over again. Coreena
