I have done this walk a few times, a little uphill in some spots but an easy walk and the falls are great after I prefer the wall autumn/spring.

What a place to visit! A pristine, Myrtle forest - only 20 minutes from Hobart. A delightful, well-maintained path meanders upwards for a 45 minute stroll through some magnificent scenery. Take your camera (and your loved ones) to the utter tranquility of this forest. You're...More

Myrtle forest is one of those off the beaten track delights that more locals than tourists take advantage of. Great for kids and older people too, the walk isn't particularly arduous.

This is such a little fairy adventure. Short or long, you can choose how far you walk up past the waterfall. Delightful drive through Collinsvale winding up through fern laden roads to a beautifully quiet forest haven. Pack the egg and lettuce sambos, a thermos...More

Only about a 20 minute drive out of town on your way of sorts to Mt Wellington and it is certainly worth a stopover. Not very popular with tourists the walk offers a great opportunity to get away from it all and enjoy the serenity...More

Short easy walk along the track to the Falls - a small but pretty Waterfall. Best time would be to see it after rain for more effect.
