The pier located by Constitution dock has restaurants, shops and serviced apartments.
The 1930s Pier is the last remaining finger wharf in Sullivans Cove and is a significant historic and cultural landmark of Hobart.
It is good for a walk along to view the docks, harbor area and the Derwent river.
We went to the Fish Frenzy restaurant located at the front for dinner which was quite nice.

A great place/area to visit for a nice walk by the docks and also to enjoy some of the best sea food the area has to offer. There are numerous sea food restaurants in the area, catering to all budget ranges that offer some really awesome sea food dishes.

The Pier is an extension of Elizabeth Street. At the street area tourists can enjoy the city life, shopping malls, shops, and restaurants. Or you can enjoy refreshing views at the pier. For me I picked the view. In that area I saw pleasure boats, yachts, tall ships, fishing boats and a group of beautiful bronze sculptures. A lovely place to visit. Happy Travelling!

The wharf area at Hobart is a really enjoyable area. An excellent choice eateries or bars to sit out on decks to just take it all in. A casual meandering walking trail in close walking distance to the city.

It’s a good sized complex that contains a hotel & several eating venues. We didn’t see any listings for shops on the directory so we chose not to go in.

The Pier is located at the end of Elizabeth Street, adjacent to the Brooke Street Pier where the ferry to MONA departs.

The majority of the Pier is occupied by the Somerset on the Pier hotel apartment complex. Apart from the hotel, there are a couple of restaurants and some boats tied up on either side.

Hard to miss if walking along the waterfront.

Hobart; the capital of Tasmania, boasts a beautiful walk of around 2 or 3 kilometers (ish) of harbour, called Elizabeth Pier. Seaboats, trawlers, yachts, Catamarans, home to tallships, the Aurora Australis and the CSIRO ships, and of course, endless fresh seafood shops sprawled across walk. If the sight of that wasn't pretty enough, the amazing viee of Mount Wellington looms high in the background, coated with fresh snow in the winter, just tops off the walk. Come and see Hobart today!
