Blue Lagoon SUP and Surf is a Stand Up Paddleboarding & Surf School located in and around Hobart Tasmania. We teach you all the basics plus water safety, then work on your technique, balance and everything else you need to know. Blue Lagoon SUP and Surf provides Hobart locals and tourists with an opportunity to experience Stand Up Paddleboarding in the scenic and calm waters of the Derwent River.

Andrew was such a good teacher and host. Friendly, flexible and informative from the first contact. My three children and I had such a good first time on the surf

Andrew and Mischa are so professional and attentive. Eliza and friends all had the best time and would love to do it again. It was 2 hours of pure fun (part lesson, part play) and in a great location (Long Point, Sandy Bay). I also thought it was great value for the level of effort put in by the organizers and the incredible amount of fun and experience had by the participants. The girls were safe and in great hands. Would do it again!

We booked with Andrew for our daughters 13th birthday with six of her friends. Andrew was a great coach and had everyone standing within no time. SUP was a great choice for a teenagers birthday and described as “the best”. The use of the boat shed for lunch after the lesson was great and added to the experience. Andrew is a great host and we recommend his business for anyone looking for a unique experience.

Great lesson - I was up on the board and paddling with confidence in no time. Even though I'm on the wrong side of 70 (and not particularly fit) I didn't fall off once. Highly recommended.
