If you are travelling to MONA, I can think of no better way than to take the ferry - and the Posh Pit alternative (hence the turn left title). Champagne and canapes on the way there, champagne and petits fours on the way back -...More

Getting the catamaran ferry to MONA really does make for a special experience. Yes you can drive, but the trip up the river makes for a special outing. I think upgrading to the "Posh Pit" is well worth it if you're unlikely to go to...More

Comfortable trip with plenty of room and seating. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Wouldn't bother with the MONA Art Museum unless you are into extremely way out art. For me it was an absolute waste of money. Some of the so called art looked...More

Expensive to ferry to MONA and get in. We ended up driving which was easy. MONA is not your typical museum/art gallery. What I liked most was TT he surrounding architecture. The gallery is housed basically in the side of a hill. The exhibition is...More

We had decided to go to Mona by the ferry and glad we did. We paid the money and went as Posh Pit people! It included a VIP room just for us, unlimited alcohol and tasting plates for nibbles. This has just got to be...More

We took a return trip on the MONA Roma as we'd already stayed at and visited MONA earlier in the week. Having splurged on MONA already, we just took the cheap, or should I say sheep?, seats at $22 RETURN (as someone earlier commented this...More

Yes, absolutely! I went to MONA a few years ago and you were warned about the steps if you had mobility limitations. On my recent trip I was really impressed. The way they deal with it now, is you take the new 300 capacity... More

Sorry, I only discovered I had messages so you've probably already visited. It's a river trip so not usually rough. I can also get seasick but the ferry is very, very stable. Give it a go.Good luck and enjoy.
