Great and easy way to get from the centre of Hobart over to MONA. Grab a beer or a glass of wine, kick back, sit on a sheep, and enjoy as the world passes you by on the way to the incredible MONA gallery.

This was the highlight of our trip to Hobart, starting (and finishing) with the ferry ride (try the posh pit), providing an amazing surreal immersion in the art scene. Not to be missed.

This quirk ferry is the perfect way to arrive at Mona. Nice quirky touches, a great way to experience the harbour.

We did the upgraded "posh" experience which was really nice. Comfortable inside seats and access to outdoor deck, canapes and wine/beer/coffee. Staff were friendly and the ride fast and scenic.

Took the relaxing ferry ride to visit MONA. Has a nice cafe for refreshments and great seats to enjoy the view and commentary. There are lots of steep steps once you disembark the ferry to get to the museum but if you let the crew...More

Thoroughly enjoyed the ride, there is a cafe and bar on board and comfortable seating for the trip on the way to the Museum. Going under the Tasman Bridge on the ferry reminded me of the accident with a ship the Lake Illawarra crashing in...More

We looked on the internet, but the day before we went we actually walked around the water so we knew where to catch the ferry and then we saw a sign for purchasing the tickets. So the next day we just went straight to the... More
