Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Up amongst some rural residential, this lookout on the corner at Braddons Lookout Rd has an excellent view over the Forth River and beyond

Born in 1829, the son of a solicitor, privately educated before moving to India to become a merchant, Braddon found being a clerk a bit stuffy. He led a charmed life - married twice, had a trove of children ( one of whom also became a 'Sir') before accepting an appointment that led him to Tasmania at the age of 59.
Braddon naturally became embroiled in politics when he arrived in Australia and ended up being Tasmania's Premier. As a Premier he was noted as a conscientious yet ruthless administrator- which is not a bad way to be in politics as you are remembered for what you get done. And who knows, eventually someone will name a lookout after you. Oh wait... .they did. That's what this is all about!
Braddon Lookout looks out over the Forth River and Port Fenton. There are oodles of information boards, plenty of carparks, there is a picnic table - all in all it's quite a good lookout and I am sure it would offer magnificent views of the area below. Except I went there when it was overcast... .still an interesting stop.

Provides expansive views of farmlands over the Forth valley: very pretty. A lot of informative signage at the location. Worth the short detour to access.
