Reasonable close to admirals arch so both can and should be done on the same day - access is via a walkway that has been rebuilt after the bushfires. You can walk/climb around the rocks - there is a sign with the no go zones close to the edge. You will need to be fairly mobile to get onto the rocks but the access to the bottom is easy enough- same as admirals arch - worth the visit

Worth the drive, it is beautiful, board walk to get to the rocks with seats to look at the view, easy access and public toilets ⭐️

These rocks really are, well, remarkable. Very unusual shapes sculpted by nature and the great part is to our surprise you’re allowed to walk on them and take photos to your hearts content. We were fortunate to have the whole place to ourselves for a short while and it’s a really stunning setting. The walkway from the carpark looks to have been re-laid fairly recently so a raised ramp now runs from the carpark to right in front of the rocks.

Make a point of reading the information boards near the Remarkable Rocks carpark that depicts a 1920s shot alongside a current photo - to realise that the sculpting continues and that should be a serious motivation to get to visit asap! I love the camera opportunities, but kids taking selfies and others relaxing and pondering - superb.

Well worth a visit. Couple it with nearby Cape du Couedic Lighthouse and Admiral's Arch.

We were fortunate thanks to the diminishing tourist numbers of late. I should imagine the 'Rocks' would be swarming in normal circumstances.

Beautiful rock formations in Flinders Chase NP. These rocks have some great colours and shapes. Take some time to wander around and really look at the rocks. Please DO NOT let your kids (or adults) climb the rocks. Easy access from the car park area but going onto the rocks is not suitable for prams/ wheelchairs (yes, we saw someone try to take a pram onto the rock, OMG). The boardwalk is accessible though. It's windy there so be careful not to get too close to the edge and obey safety signs...no photo is worth your life or an injury! We saw people doing silly things. Let's keep these rocks in good condition for others to enjoy!!

A visit to remarkable rocks is a must, the rocks are a short stroll from the parking lot, if your in flinders chase it’s a must along with admiral archers and the light house. It was a rainy day but we still got some great photos so don’t let the weather deter a visit. Take some lunch for your day trip from Kingscote!

The day I visted Flinders Cahse National Park, the weather was wet & windy. After being unable to get to Admirals Arch due to the wind, I proceeeded to Remarkable Rocks, whch was protected from the Wind. Flinders Chase as a whole is still on the long road of recovery from the Bush Fires. Boardwalks and visitor facilites are being replaced, rebuilt and improved constantly. The Rocks themselves are remarkable.

The rocks are truly remarkable - be sure to observe safety signage as the side closest to the ocean can be hazardous. Rock shapes are gorgeous and great photo opportunity. There is currently works to refurbish paths and toilet facilities after the 2020 bushfire so it’s looking a bit muddy in the surrounds but still good access to the rocks. If you want to walk around on them you need basic mobility, wouldn’t be suited to some mobility impaired folks or people using a wheelchair until the ramps are completed.

We had a fantastic time walking around the rocks and looking at the views out to sea. So many great photo options. They are still constructing the boardwalk to the rocks after the fires but the dirt path was easy walking. Nice new composting toilets were open though.
