Sheep being milked, well that's different. They seem quite happy, and are much more compliant than cows. It was interesting to watch. We were lucky enough to have a tasting of the products the dairy produces, yoghurt & cheese. It was quite different to other dairy products. I liked the flavoured yoghurt & the cheeses. The staff are very nice... More

For a small charge of $4 per person you can do a cheese & yoghurt tasting. The cheeses were delicious, especially the haloumi. We ended buying plenty to take home. They conveniently sell freezer bags with ice so that you can transport it. They also stock other KI products like olive oil which is great. It's a lovely location and... More

if your a cheese lover then this is a must. I have visited and tasted the produce of Island Pure Cheeses many times over the years but I would just like to say that the Haloumi, Manchego & Kefletori that is being produced at present is world class without doubt. Big congrats to Sally & Sonny for their amazing expertise... More

We enjoyed the informative video and the cheeses but staff not quite up to challenge of managing the number of visitors they had over Easter holiday. $4 per person for tiny portion of tasting not refunded on purchase. Either give larger portions or offer credit if you purchase cheese.

Their cafe is tucked away at the back. We paid the $4 each to see two DVDs about how it all works and to have a taste test of cheeses & yoghurts. The grilled haloumi was amazing. Our pick was their tubs of mixed berry & KI honey gelato tubs for $5 each. Absolutely delicious

Myself and my 3 teenage boys visited the dairy last week. The tour was both interesting and informative, although the video got old very quickly. The ladies personalised our visit telling stories about their favoroute girls. There was lots of information about the process and how they were building their flock. We really enjoyed the cheese tasting and we're surprised... More

We were one of the first customers for there 11am opening. Staff were knowledgeable and presented product well. Everything we tasted was enjoyable and we left with a fridge of cheese and yogurt.

We wanted to purchase some sheep's yoghurt. Their yoghurt with honey is pure silk! We should have bought more! We did not do the "tasting" however watched the sheep being milked. Very interesting. There is no cost for this.

I have been to Island Pure a few times, however not recently so in fairness I can't say whether it is value for money as I have no idea what they charge these days. Years ago the farm was off the beaten track and you drove down dirt roads to get there. Kids could bottle feed the orphan lambs and... More
