Faye was an icon of this town and an originator in so many ways. Her house shows her eclectic tastes and an ability to create normality underground. Everything is of it's time so "time warp" comes to mind. Don't miss it.

This dugout will impress you, it's far bigger than expected and even has a pool. The work that went into it is impressive, as are the women that lived there. Get the tour if you can, it's worth the price.

Popped in just after a school group had been in. The wonderful new caretakers let us in and gave us a great tour. Passionate and had learnt her research! What an extraordinary lady Faye was! Great job. Thanks Guys for your wonderful hospitality 😊

We think it was about $15 to see both the house and mine. Whatever it was - it was well worth it and I'd say it was a highlight of our trip to Coober Peedy. And do both - you won't regret it! And consider staying at... More
