Great spot to see the underground opal mines and the way people live at Coober Pedy. Good museum and exhibitions. Low headroom so you must wear hardhats. Small charge. Suitable for whole families.

A self guided tour with hard hat to prevent a hole in the head from the low roofed tunnels gives one an insight into how it was done and how the miners and their families lived in the early 1900's.
