We did two walking tours with Graeme, and each provided us with a wealth of knowledge on the past and present Adelaide. Graeme was an excellent guide. Each tour lasted two hours and focused on one geographical area of the city. Well worth while and you will leave Adelaide with a lot more knowledge and understanding of the city’s history and the people who shaped its development over the past 200 years. Definitely recommend these tours.

Graeme's tours are first class. Each one is thoroughly researched and Graeme's extensive knowledge of Adelaide adds huge value to the experience. This combined with Graeme's relaxed style and generosity when it comes to time and content make the tours a 'must do'. I am an Adelaide local but always learn new things about our unique city on these high quality, affordable tours.

Thanks so much Helen for posting your review. Enjoyed hosting you, Helen and Sandra and look forward to hosting one of our North Adelaide walks in February. Both Victoria Square in Adelaide and North Adelaide are interesting areas to wander around exploring history. Thanks again for booking.

We just finished doing Graeme’s cultural tour walk around Adelaide Terrace “Cultural Capers”. Graeme was very professional in all arrangements, including moving the tour to a time that suited us. Graeme is very knowledgeable about Adelaide and its history, and shared it well to us. Graeme took us to places we would have never seen without him, and shared interesting stories about Adelaide’s past. It was also great that he used photos to compare current areas to how buildings and areas looked in the historical past. We would highly recommend Graeme as a guide, and this particular tour. Our only disappointment was that we didn’t get to do Graeme’s tour earlier in our trip, as it would have allowed us to book onto some of his other tours. We will certainly rectify this and book into his other tours when we return to Adelaide again in the future. Highly recommended 5 star walk.

We thoroughly enjoyed the 2 hours we spent with Graeme walking North Terrace, gaining important insights and understandings on the buildings and characters that have contributed to the development of the city. Graeme was knowledgeable, personable and engaging. These types of tours are particularly important to new visitors to Adelaide however I suspect would benefit locals as well. When we return to Adelaide we intend to undertake further local tours with Graeme.

I did the "Cultural Capers" tour which was excellent. There was so much to see and learn within the space of just a few blocks along North Terrace. Graeme was extremely knowledgeable about Adelaide’s history. I thought the tour was very good value for money. It was advertised as being 2 hours duration, but went for a good 2.5 hours . As a solo traveller, I was also pleased that Graeme was prepared to run the tour for just one person.

This was our second walking tour with Graeme, both were full of amazing revelations about the lives and times of families settling in the area from the mid 1800s. The architecture and stories are quintessentially Adelaidian. An easy and enjoyable stroll through a beautiful built environment.

We had a very pleasant 2 hours in Central Adelaide with Graeme. He gave us a brief history of why Adelaide was where it is, before moving from the Parliament building to Government House, which actually was open to the public because of the recent passing of Queen Elizabeth . Graeme took us to the National War Memorial and gave us a history of surrounding buildings such as the Art Gallery, Migration Museum and the State Library. What was interesting was the history in such a small area of Adelaide and all walkable ie you don’t walk miles. Graeme was v engaging and interesting over the 2 hrs and well worth our time invested. Would recommend this if new to Adelaide. Maybe also if you know the city you will learn something new!

Today I walked the North Terrace with Graeme and was really interested in his knowledge of the area. Even though I’d walked down this street a number of times I was surprised about how much I’d missed. Graeme is an excellent communicator and tour companion. The pace was just right and the two hours passed so quickly. I’m very glad I did this tour. Definitely a worthwhile addition to my holiday itinerary.

I wanted something different to the generic guided bus tour and Graeme certainly delivered. I came away with a deeper understanding about, and appreciation for, the history of this remarkable city and I learned so many interesting facts. Highly recommended!

Our guide, Graham introduced himself the day prior to our tour and met us exactly on time. We spent the next 2 1/2 hours touring the sights and learning about the history of buildings, places and people of Adelaide. We thoroughly enjoyed every minute of it. I would highly recommend this to everyone
