Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Adelaide's most beautiful area for the academics, overseas students and musicians. Have you been to the Friday lunch hour concert? Do yourself a favour to see Adelaide University!

Many years ago I was a student here and I took the opportunity as any past student should to wander through almost familiar spaces and buildings even to the hallways, corridors and lecture theatres, some now with glass walls you can see in when a lecture is in progress.to relive those past days, weeks months sweating away. There are so many new facilities including a wonderful space behind the newly cleaned Conservatory of Music where students And us) mingled yesterday, It was Refectory 1 and 2 all over again. We walked the maze between the upper floors of the so familiar Engineering Buildings and noted a marked uplift in the décor even to the extent you can see into the lecturers rooms nowadays! Sure there are new buildings taking up a lot of the space we once enjoyed in the sunshine but progress has its demands. Even if it was sixty years ago when I was first there it was all so familiar behind the timber screens and painted walls. For past students - and the public generally - take a walk there to see what the kids are doing now, it is so much better than the cold "old" buildings we had, the external facades have all been preserved (of course)..

Many beautiful buildings, park-like atmosphere, eye catching monuments, fountains, magnificent architecture. Great place for a stroll. We walked along the North Terrace street visiting all landmarks on our way. That included the spectacular museums - the art museum, South Australia museum which is a natural history museum and migration museum.
The University of Adelaide has one of the friendliest open campus areas I have ever seen.

Having a University lecturing background I was interested in the various campus' sites and applaud the University for making sympathetic use of what were clearly older buildings. Their new buildings were of a very different design but appealing nevertheless. Some buildings were surrounded by lots of green space and it was a pleasure to walk round and sit and observe.

I love walking through the grounds of Adelaide University. A visit to the Barr Smith Library is worth while too. The New Hub has been done really well and doesn't take away from the old buildings and they have great food there.
Love being around Bonython Hall when there's a Graduation - such a nice buss.

The old sandstones buildings at the Uni of Adelaide certainly have some charm and warrant a stroll to investigate. It is a shame that many of the oldest buildings are closed as they have a real 'Hogwarts' feel to them.

The University of Adelaide is a "group of eight" university, known for its excellence in research. It is also known as a "sandstone university," from its historic architecture. The University of Adelaide is well-known for its excellence in science and the humanities.
