Chose the company mainly because they have a smaller boat capacity. We had the whole boat to ourselves which was great. The guide was friendly, very experienced and did his best to get us fish. Caught a generous amount of whitings and squid. We got lucky with a sunny and calm weather that day. Highly recommended.

Amazing Day!
Our skipper Chris was beyond knowledgeable, helpful, kind and full of stories.
Knew when to call up anchor when the fishing was not so good, knew how to communicate with a diverse group of people.
As a female, peeing conditions were as private as could be, which was more than I had expected.
Superbly run, with an absolute font of knowledge at the helm.
I purchased this charter for my partner and I as his birthday gift. Already dropping hints a few hours later that my birthday Is coming up soon!

We enjoyed an awesome day of deep sea fishing with Get Hooked Fishing Charters on Jan 23rd, 2021. It was a fun experience for all 4 family members. Our captain Chris provided exceptional support throughout the 8 hours. He was friendly, obliging, comical and kept us entertained with his endless stories and thorough knowledge of the sea and fishing in general. As novices we appreciated his expert hands-on guidance resulting in a memorable experience. We would highly recommend Get Hooked Fishing Charters and Chris. A great guy who made the day very special one for all of us.

Went of a half day fishing trip with my husband and daughter early January. Our skipper Chris was extremely knowledgeable getting us on the fish from our first stop. His stories and banter were fantastic and he couldn't have been more helpful to all levels of expertise on the charter. My husband has fished several different times on similar style charters and Chris was by far the best skipper/host he says he has had by a country mile!
Hubby is still smarting from the monster gummy shark I managed to land :)
Thoroughly recommend Get Hooked to anyone, but ask for Chris!

Had a great morning's fishing catching a good feed of King George whiting and squid. Chris our Skipper was a great help with my teenage son showing him how to catch squid and whiting. He knows where the fish are and moves spots if the fish aren't bitting. I would recommend Get Hooked for a fun relaxed days fishing with friends and family.

Started of down at north Haven, out to the Norma wreck, and pulling in fish right off,
Chris our scipper was just great, took us over left hand down a bit to a blue swimmer crab spot where there was no shortage to go round, just the best day.

This makes a great present for the novice fisherman. The charter operator was a great source of knowledge and ran the charter very professionally. We were a group of 6 and we all had a great time. Seas weren't to rough.

For years I have been going out fishing and barely catching a cold. A mate of mine suggested Get Hooked Fishing charters. So we booked a day out with the kids OMG it was amazing. 8 weeks later I am still eating the fish...although the freezer is getting empty..time to book another trip

Bought a full day trip for my Dads birthday, he took my brothers as well. All 3 couldn't be happier when they got home, said they caught heaps of snapper and they were big too. Friendly skipper and easy to organize

Snapper everywhere. Our skipper was excellent, he took us to some great spots where the Snapper were well and truly on the bite. I took my family out for the trip and we all had a very memorable day. Thanks!
