Amazing building. A must do on a trip to Adelaide. Great place to meet and a stunningly beautiful building especially at night. Haigh's chocolates. Amazing quality without comparison. From giant chocolate frogs to iconic pandas and fish to sublime truffles. A tourist mecca which deserves 'local treasure' status.

This is at 32-40 King William Street and is on the State Heritage Register. The Haighs Chocolates are in the building but in Rundle Mall. It is a very impressive building

Stunning building at the end of Rundle Mall. Best seen from across the road. Great architecture. Now it's easy to find as Haigs chocolate shop is on the ground floor.

Probably because development passed the staid and slow growing city of Adelaide by for so long, this wonderful architecture has survived into 2022.
Haigh's Chocolates on the corner had black plastic covering two of its windows. I'm unsure if this was just to stop the sun hitting its products each afternoon, but it detracted from the ground floor look.

Such a beautiful old building enhanced of course by Haighs Chocolates on the ground floor. A complete shame the building beside it to the north obscures one side and is as ugly as the beehive is beautiful.

Is a beautiful landmark in Adelaide and marks the spot for Haigs. Unfortunately today people were disregarding the density limit in the small shop so walked out because just didn't feel like battling the crowds.

Beautiful building in the heart of the City. This provides a one-stop area for shopping and also has an outlet for the Famous Haigs chocolate as well.!!

When heading into the Rundel Mall it is always a great landmark to walk past this place (on a mission to Haiges!).
While Adelaide is one of the newer state capitols, many of the buildings are just approaching old enough to be really interesting - and this is one of them.

We were told about Beehive Corner known for its architecture and brickwork right on the corner of Rundle Mall and Hindley St. What really attracted us was the Haigs Chocolate shop (an institution in Adelaide) on the corner...very hard to go past that store actually.
