Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

St Peter's Anglican Cathedral is an Adelaide landmark. It is a faith community that combines liturgy, music and preaching. It is the mother church of the Adelaide diocese, drawing many believers to participate in worship.

This Anglican Church is quite impressive inside and out and has a commanding position in North Adelaide. The church first held services in 1876 although not then totally complete. It has impressive stained glass windows, some installed much later. The staff were very welcoming and helpfull

Such a beautiful, old historic church that stands out in Adelaide city. I loved the model of the church which some clever man had hand made! We spent quite awhile inside, mesmerised by all the intricate carvings and all the stunning lead lighting on the windows and glass panes. We came by here after staying at the Oval hotel and apparently caught the tail end of the Commonwealth service. Was spectacular watching & listening to the bagpipes. We went to the very back of the church to the private prayer room and when in there you just want to sit and reflect. Situated right on the corner, this gorgeous building can be seen from multiple angles. So pretty at night time too.

I recently visited St Peters before attending the Cricket. I prayed for wickets and we got them. The Cathedral is magnificent, and very visitor friendly.

Very attentive volunteer staff, even during the pandemic. Well worth the visit, and close to town. A lovely walk to the church.

On our way back from North Adelaide, we slowly drive in front of the Cathedral. It's a magnificent building, in which my friend's husband officiated a wedding.

St Peter's is the Anglican cathedral for Adelaide. It took many years to build, beginning in the 1860s with its final dedication in 1904. St Peters is a high point of the South Australian capital. It is constructed in French Gothic style, surrounded by specious grounds. Everyone should visit St Peters Cathedral, even if the are not religious.

The Cathedral is very easy to locate in close proximity to the Adelaide Oval. A brochure is available when you enter so you can take a self-guided tour. The brochure is very well done and provides a wealth of information. If you have any additional questions, employees are also available to assist. The stained glass windows and the Rose Window are very beautiful. There are also some photos (reproductions) that were taken during the building of the Cathedral, which were interesting to view.

It is a very nice small version of the grand cathedrals of Europe. It dominates the landscape since it sits in a location by itself. Take a peak.
