Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

If you are not steady on your feet and can navigate stars well then this isn't a place for you. The shop on the ground floor had a good range of the pieces of art made in the working areas . Parking is a problem

Great showcase of local art. The current exhibition 'Fortified' is well worth a check out. No artists working at the time of visit but wstill worth the trip!

It's nice, worth dropping into if you're on this side of town, though for me it didn't quite live up to the hype - probably because I was there on the weekend so I didn't get to see any artists working.

JamFactory is a great place if you're buying a nice gift for someone. They also have nice exhibitions and a spot to watch the glass blowers in action!

This has a great display of bowls, mugs, and everyday items from local artists. Many very beautiful handcrafted items. Priced quite reasonably (you could pay as much for a high-end factory version). Great place to buy local gifts for visiting friends overseas,

Visit for beautiful pieces that you can use daily. Think handmade mugs and glass straws. Perfect for unique, thoughtful gifts.

Time your visit to the Jam Factory with a film next door at the Mercury Cinema. Visit nearby restaurant Stem for pre or post-movie drinks, pizza or meal.

Came on a Sunday afternoon and most of the building was closed so were disappointed. No glassblowing or any other crafters open. The goods were interesting though as was the small show next to the shop.

Such lovely art in all forms. Plenty of useful items and not purely decorative. Lovely art exhibition too.

Mesmerising watching the artists mould and work the glass. A jazzy sax playing in the background. Next time I’ll visit in the winter, with a coffee and sit and watch. My kids loved it. Very interested in all the artists and how creative they are. What a goldmine of artists!

We were recommended to go to the Jam Factory and are very glad we did as we arrived in time to watch from a gallery the incredibly talented and professional glass blowing that regularly can be seen here . Such talented people . The shop sells a variety of items , not just glass and has wonderful displays of aboriginal art . It is SO worth a visit .
