I liked the range of buildings and their purposes. Many restaurants and hotels and cutting through the railway station, where the entrance to the Casino is, gained access to the River Torrens and the promenade and the walk into the city. Highly recommended area, vibrant and scenic. Building work going on but the area is being developed and improved and... More

North Terrace in Adelaide is a must for any tourist. The museum is a good starting point with free entry and guided tours. It has many interesting aboriginal artefacts and a large collection of Australian taxidermist wildlife. There is also a well stocked gift shop and a cafe. A little further along North Terrace is the art gallery with a... More

First you will reach the imposing War Memorial, before passing buildings housing the Library, the Museum, the Art Gallery. If local history interests you, walk on the outer footpath. Here you... Easy access for a variety of places to see and a variety of eating places. The war memorial and the Migration museum were particularly interesting.
