A little further along North Terrace is the art gallery with a... More

Walk east along on North Terrace from King William Street on the footpath, along the wall containing The Governor's residence and gardens, comfortably on a warm day in the. shade. First you will reach the imposing War Memorial, before passing buildings housing the Library, the Museum, the Art Gallery. If local history interests you, walk on the outer footpath. Here you... Easy access for a variety of places to see and a variety of eating places. The war memorial and the Migration museum were particularly interesting.

To enjoy North Terrace you must appreciate architecture, history or culture. If you do, there is plenty to appreciate. The entire street accommodates all that is significant in Adelaide. It has art galleries, library, museums, universities, Government seats, etc. housed in magnificent buildings.

Take a stroll down the North Terrace and take in everything from the railway station to the Jam Factory, Ayers' House and the South Australia Art Gallery. A great way to get to know Adelaide.

At the city center is really make you easy to go to this location. You can catch the tram, bus or the train to go to the site. There are State Library and Museums here and also University of Adelaide. Have a great day.

The walk along North Terrace is a must for all tourists. The impressive buildings along the way is worth the walk. There is a range of different styles of architecture. There are many statues and the war memorial was great. Museums, hospital and University all close to one another.

We walked from the Intercontinental along to the Botanical Gardens. It was a journey of about 30 minutes. All along one side of the road where some some good public buildings, Government, University, Museums and Hospital. The other side of the road is perhaps so not attractive so best to focus on just the one side
