The Adelaide Central Market is one of the best food markets in Australia and rivals great markets in Europe. The unpretentious warehouse of stalls is packed to the rafters with a huge range of fresh fruit and vegetables along with everything else you could possibly...More

Glad I don't live in adelaide or I would spend a fortune on food here. Awesome market- beats Sydney and Mbourne equivalents hands down. Come hungry with lots of time.

Such an amazing collection of stalls and stall holders. As a solo traveller, it was fabulous to buy a coffee and enjoy it whilst surrounded by the bustle of the market. I bought provisions for dinner every night to take back to the hotel. Before...More

The smells, the noise the hidden gems- what's not to like? The only problem if you are not a frequent visitor is finding what you want. If you just want to wander, however, this place is prefect.

It’s far more oriented to fresh produce. May have a gadget stall around the outside or nearer the food court.
