Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Our day touring the Barossa Valley was made all the better by our informative and friendly guide Robin. His knowledge of not only the wineries and geography, was coupled with a detailed overview of many local Adelaide landmarks and the settlement history.

We spent time at three wineries, enjoying tastings of many high quality wines accompanied with exceptional local cheese, chocolate and a first rate lunch at Lambert Estate - prepared with ingredients from their property. Simply amazing!

We found value for money very high, and this is a tour we would recommend to anyone wanting to discover the Barossa and dive into the fine wines of the Adelaide region.

My family and I booked the one day Kangaroo Island Experience tour. It was fantastic. It was an early start with a 6am pick up from our hotel, ferry transfer to KI and a whole day bus tour. Our tour guide/bus driver, Dave, was entertaining and knowledgeable. We visited Seal Bay, Vivonne Bay (lunch warm chicken salad), Remarkable Rocks, Admirals Arch and Wildlife Park where visitors can feed kangaroos and hold a koala. Highly recommend this tour, pack snacks, drinks, wind/water proof jacket and lots of energy. We returned to our hotel at 10.30pm grateful for a wonderful day.

We were picked up at our hotel and delivered to our bus for the day. Our driver, Peter, was extremely knowledgeable and friendly. We saw all the sights of the centre city and after lunch went into the hills and on to the very interesting Halndorf. We went slightly off route to see some Koalas up trees going back to Adelaide. After returning to the depot we were cheerfully delivered back to our hotel on a different bus.

We had a great day on this tour with Phil our driver/guide. So many interesting places that we stopped at, plenty of photo opportunities. We didn’t take the included lunch but ate at the same hotel anyway. Great way to see so much in one day

We did not book the optional lunch on this tour, preferring to spend more time viewing the attractions of Victor Harbor. Robin was again our driver/guide this time with a better bus than the previous day. Heading off past the historic toll house at the base of the South Eastern Freeway, through the Heysen Tunnels and on to Strathalbyn where we stopped for morning tea and a look at some attractions in this charming historic town dating to the days of its Scottish pioneers. Through Goolwa, Middleton and Port Elliot before arriving in Victor harbor for lunch and more sightseeing. The homeward route took us through Matthew Flinders Drive, to Rosetta Head Lookout, Willunga Hill Road, Port Noarlunga, the Onkaparinga River mouth and a stop in McLaren Vale where we enjoyed an hour of free time. Some enjoyed wine tastings, others enjoyed afternoon teas and a number enjoyed the delights of the Menz outlet. Heading back to Adelaide, I believe that it was unanimous; we all had a wonderful day. All credit to Robin for his history knowledge and reliability as a driver. Absolutely recommend this tour.

This was a great day out in the Barossa - even for a local. If you want to hit the highlights of the Barossa - Maggie Beers, Lunch at a winery, scenic drive through the countryside - this is a great option. AND best of all, they have added a stop at the all new chocolate factory for a chocolate and wine pairing.

From the start when we left Adelaide I was impressed - although a local I was surprised by how many nuggets of information our driver gave us that was news to me!

I love getting in the Barossa but never quite sure where to go - this is a great option if you want to take a relaxing day out and not have to think about it. The driver takes care of everything and we just joined along for a fun ride and great experience in the Barossa.

Out on the bus just after 8am, and we headed straight out the Main North Rd, before swinging into the Adelaide Hills via Tea Tree, and through St Agnes to Williamstown, and our first port of call, Te Aro wines. A New Zealand name in an Adelaide Hills winery.
We were taken into the wine tasting section via the newly renovated barn for a coffee and cake, and heard tales about each of the wines we were tasting. Wonderful tales all reflected in the names of all the wines.
Then it was on to Maggie Beers Farmndear Nuriootpa, where the sale of produce was the obvious goal. That said we enjoyed the tasting and bought a little something for "later on", before we went on to Lambert Estate at Angaston for a fine two course lunch.
Full tums, and off to Pindarie Wines, where we backed off from another wine tasting and enjoyed a coffee out on the verandah with a couple of our travelling companions.
Finally, stopping off for a short photo-op at Mengler's Hill lookout, before heading back into Adelaide.

Absolutely boring! Waste of money. Really good I guess if you’re looking for a history lesson way too much information given to actually retain as I’m a tourist and not local. Church was cool, botanical gardens are free do them on your own time! Waste of whatever I paid $68 I think could of rented a car for that! City of churches so check them out around every corner. Tour guide was neither friendly nor informative got a bit animated when he had to talk about the city.

The tour to Kangaroo island was very scenic. A lot of stops to see beautiful coastlines. Walked on the beach with the seals. The bus driver/guide was very knowledgeable and gave us a very interesting history of the island and all the wildlife. We took the tour in spring and would recommend bringing a jacket as it got a bit cool and windy as the evening approached. It was a long day but well worth time and money.

we travelled down by bus to Murram nice trip down with Gary we get there at 1030am after leaving Adelaide at 0915am. We get on board the proud Mary and straight away we are served morning Tea the boat goes up the river only once did they state what was along the river. We then got served lunch it wasn't too bad only chicken as meat offered and a few salads, fruit was also put out grapes watermelon pineapple and rockmelon very little pineapple. I felt it was quite a let down we were on the river for 2 hrs with no real explanation on the history of the river and the town that surrounded it or the island on the other side of the river. We then were let of the boat and taken to the look out which was lovely to see the whole picture of the town below and the river we were then taken back town to spend an 1hr browsing the town but weather was really hot so most people headed straight to the local hotel where they sad in aircon and listed to a few locals voicing there opinions and a sexually related matter of the Commonwealth games after leaving there we heading towards Hahndorf to the Melba Chocolate factory and the cheese factory which was lovely beautiful cheese it was 4pm so the chocolate factory was cleaning up for the day so did not see any production then headed back to Adelaide got back at 515pm a good day out
